I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. Plus we like not having our food in plastic due to all the health concerns (especially when we warm up our food in the microwave). Hope this helps you. Read more

These are really nice food storage containers. At the time of this review, they are priced at around 38$ for the four. When I got them, they were on sale for closer to 30$. I think 30$ is close to the limit of what I would be willing to pay for these, but I'm a bit more cost averse than some. With that high price tag though comes a quality product. You get two of each size here. The smaller ones are a nice one portion size, but sometimes I do feel like they could be a bit taller. The large ones are also a nice bigger size, can't complain. The glass bottoms are durable and super easy to clean, I usually just put them in the dishwasher. I saw some reviews say that putting the plastic tops in the dishwasher caused the seal to get messed up, so I have hand washed mine and they still seal really well. They are really quick to hand wash so it's not too much of a hassle. The lids go on by pushing down into the container a little bit which is interesting. Then there are the two clamps on either side. This is kind of a nice mechanism and its satisfying to push the lids on for me. This mechanism works to create the stackability of the containers. When full, they stack nicely on each other. When empty the glass bottoms stack very nicely into each other, and they store well. The lids, when separate, are a bit bulky with the clamp parts up which does take up a bit of space. One of my only complaints is that at times the tops are so sealed on that they are hard to get off. Opening the container can be a challenge so consider that if you have strain averse fingers/hands. Overall, this is a very high-quality product. When I moved out on my own after college this past year, I really wanted some quality glass food storage containers. Since then, I have bought these, and I have bought a set of glass Pyrex containers from Costco. I like both a lot, but I like these better. However, these are almost double the price for probably less than half the container space, so that gives you something to reference. Pros: - Quality glass bottoms - Great seal - Stack nicely - Easy to clean Cons: - Hand wash lids - Sometimes hard to open when sealed - Lids take up space in storage - Expensive Final Note: I expect these to last me a long time and I really like the product. They are very expensive and there are certainly cheaper alternatives that are more cost efficient, but these are better quality in my opinion. Read more

Great value considering the versatility and quality. Crystal clear lid and base. Dishwasher, and microwave safe (lid for microwave reheat only, open flaps for venting). Also oven safe (base only, up to 450 F). Air and watertight lid seal, even upside-down; great for dry storage and easy leftover storage. The plastic ones are great which I also have, but I get glass for anything red or brown for the assurance that it won't stain, and these also double as bakeware. If seal is too hard to open, microwave it if contents are microwavable. Or, open both flaps and give it "CPR" a few times, then pull with slow, but constant tension until loose. Read more

Great containers. I was looking to get away from using so much plastic. The bottoms are glass, but the tops are plastic. But they seal so well, very tightly, no leaks. Easy to throw in the dishwasher for cleaning. It's nice to not have to worry about making sure they're on the top rack. The lids still go up top though. I haven't used them in the freezer yet, but they do good in the microwave. I will eventually get some more, good purchase! Read more
