These mason jar scones were a GREAT find for my foyer ambience! They accent the mirror, console and the vase with flowers, that I also purchased from Amazon, so well. In fact, 98% of my income is spent here. I'm addicted to the place, lol. Amazon and its sellers are the best and the products are even BETTER! The sconces lighting has several modes or series of flashing and dancing that are easy to select with the provided remote. I'm sure you will find something to set the mood. The lighting can also be turned on and off from a switch located behind the light assembly. You do not have to remove them from the wall to do so. They are not battery guzzlers either, which is another perk to the purchase. I can also change the flowers based on the season, mood or my preference. It took me awhile to submit a review because I'm renovating my entire house. So, as I get areas setup with the products I've purchased. I then take a pic and share my opinions of them. Trust that anything in my reviews are great items. I refuse to settle for less.....! My guest are ALWAYS intrigued by the sconces simplicity but elegance. Many of them have went on to purchase for themselves. And I have yet to hear a complaint from either of them. I will be purchasing a few more sets as gifts for my daughter and daughter-in-laws; also to place in other areas of my home, as well, where extra lighting is needed. They are bliss to install. Not heavy on your walls. Preventing any sort of damage. And they hold up greatly. Currently, they are in a high traffic area. Plus, I have a 9 yr old granddaughter that tends to run and stump around(lol, you know how children are), however, these sconces are built to last. Sturdy and steady. This comes nicely packaged with instructions. I purchased the double set and was pleased to see that each unit came with a remote control. Even better, one remote can work for both if you have them in the same room or two if in different locations. I have ours at the bottom and top of the staircase for light in the evening and use the timer feature to have them shut off shortly after retiring for the night. The timer feature has a few options but it would have been nice to have a 2 hour one. I'm still playing around with the timing to get it just right. Putting it together is fairly easy and you have the freedom to design it the way you like. I opted to put half the lights in the jar and the other in the flowers. Hubby liked the look but thought they were way too bright when I first turned them on. Then I dimmed them. That was a surprise to him and he's quite pleased with the look and the amount of light given off by the steady glow. For those of you that like twinkling or fading lights , those options are available as well. As soon as I bought this item , Amazon notified me of another Seller that was selling them for less money. Not as pictured , decent size though. Flowers are too tall for jars so I had to trim the stem. Looks nice though. Assembly in general is easy enough. The plastic hooks are a little bit tricky. Overall value and functionality is nice. I do like being able to adjust the brightness. Read more
