Sabrina Carpenter Me Espresso - Long-lasting Perfume for Women - Sweet Floral Fragrance with notes of Vanilla Amber

I had completely forgotten I had pre-ordered this fragrance. I couldn't remember the scent notes or had any idea what it was supposed to smell like. As this was first sprayed, I instantly smelled a sharp artificial grape and coffee. However, as soon as the spray hit my skin, I could smell the floral element(jasmine, a true jasmine). There was a smooth creaminess, a hint of espresso/coffee or cocoa(hard to differentiate), and the jasmine. The harsh "grape" smell had disappeared entirely and the coffee note had melted into the background. I was instantly reminded of Poison(before the formula changed). It is very sweet and floral, with mild gourmand undertones. This is definitely as sweet, but much more floral, than the other 3 Sabrina Carpenter perfumes. I don't really get any biscuit or caramel notes. Just beautiful, creamy florals, with a bit of espresso/coffee at it's base. Also, here's a tip: Always clear the first one or two sprays from the pump. Otherwise, you may not get a true idea of what the perfume really smells like. As for strength and lasting power: The strength is about the same as the other Sabrina Carpenter perfumes. It is moderately strong when sprayed, but loses power after about an hour. The dry down after an hour is mostly a sweet, creamy jasmine. It is gorgeously feminine and can be worn any time, day or night, any season. The lasting power is fair--4 to 6 hours on me. However, it's projection weakens over that entire time. I am pleasantly surprised that I love this scent so much, as it is completely different from what I had expected. Up until this point, Sweet Tooth Caramel(beige bottle), was my favorite. Me Espresso may have just kicked it out of the number one spot. I highly recommend this perfume. Overall: 8/10 Presentation: Cute packaging; but definitely a little juvenile. Came in a nice box and feels very sturdy. Love that the cap is flush with the bottle and has a unique but fitting design. Initial Spray Impression: Upon very first spray, this perfume opens up with a very sweet and synthetic smell. Like walking into a candy store that is spinning homemade cotton candy. Within a couple minutes the synthetic aspect disappears mostly. However, the sweetness remains. Personally, I love it. But, I can see how this scent could be considered cloying. Projection and Longevity: It’s been 2 hours since my first spray. I only sprayed my one wrist with one spray. At first, the projection is very pronounced even with one spray; so go light. However, now it’s a bit more intimate, but the whipped vanilla and light musk smell is still on my skin and noticeable when I move my arm. Notes: Top: Marshmallow, Candied Ginger, Chocolate, and Bergamot Middle: Madagascar Vanilla, Coconut Milk, Jasmine Base: Whipped Cream, Cashmere Wood, Sugar, and Musk. The marshmallow is very pronounced. So if you are looking for something similar and in the same family as Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy, you will likely enjoy this. The ginger lends to a sweet but slightly spicy note. The vanilla in this is definitely pronounced as a sweet, gourmand, cookie-like vanilla. Also, I think the coconut milk lends to a slightly creamy aspect.m, although I wouldn’t describe this as lactonic. Overall, I will be wearing this value perfume a lot! I love how sweet and cozy it feels. It’s giving young and fun, with a hint of sexy. Great blind buy for those who live gourmands because it’s affordable and an easily likable scent as long as it’s not oversprayed. Read more

I love the sweet smell and that it's not overpowering. This perfume lasts on me all day. I think the bottle size is worth the value. You can wear this perfume during the work week or on a weekend day or night. I plan on purchasing again soon because I wear it all the time and I am almost out. Read more

It smells sooooo good and yummy! I love the color of the packaging, such a pretty baby pink! Too cute. However I do notice the scent doesn't last too long, I wish it lasted longer. I usually pair it with other yummy scents so it lasts longer. The bottle is also leak proof, I had no issues at all with that. Read more

So I got the “Me Espresso” Scent and it’s smells amazing 🤩 Definitely a Sweet Tooth type of smell. I put it on and I still smelled it two days later. It lasts so long! Sweet & bottle has beautiful packaging! you smell like a complete dessert for about 15 mins & then NOTHING! it does not last long and for the number of times you have to respray yourself it makes the price of this way too high! I have the caramel one as well & that one smells amazing, last a little bit longer but not by much. This would be a great perfume line if the longevity could be extended. Read more
