I bought this to use under my desk and I love it. It’s easy to roll my chair on and it looks great. It’s thick and feels soft walking on it. My dog lays by my feet and it doesn’t seem to collect a lot of dog hair, or at least it’s not noticeable. The rug doesn’t shed at all. There was no bad smell but the corners did need to be held down for a day or two before it was fully flat. The colors look nice and it’s high quality for a reasonable cost. It was pretty wrinkly after I first rolled the rug out but watch my iron technique in my video to help losses up the edges . Place a piece of small wash cloth over the rug before you iron so that way you won’t ruin the fiber! Over all I am very pleased. The rug matches well with my furniture and my white kitchen. The rug pattern is nice. I reduced a star because it came folded, not rolled, which means it’s much more complicated to remove the wrinkles. After a month of actively stretching using furniture and rug corner stickies to push and manipulate the wrinkles around, I’m still seeing tons of ripples. I don’t know that it will ever settle out. That said, it’s a good quality rug for the price. It hides dirt and is easy to clean dry dirt. No wet messes yet, so that’s TBD. It is not particularly thick or plush, but I was looking for floor coverage in a large way (10x13’), not necessarily the most thick and plush rug, so that’s fine. This next part is my fault so I didn’t dock a star for it, but as an fyi: I was trying to gently steam out the wrinkles with a small hand-steamer for clothing, and it melted a part of the rug where I got too close. It’s not visible but it did turn that section hard, like melted plastic. Overall, I would probably buy it again, but only if my budget didn’t allow a higher quality rug that would come rolled instead of folded. I think the wrinkles will eventually drive me crazy enough that I will replace it just for that. Read more

We’ve gotten so many compliments on this rug. It’s simple and geometric with a low pile. It looks reasonably premium but won’t fool anyone as a premium rug. Good ease of install and color. Haven’t washed beyond vacuuming but I assume if it’s needed then it’ll also be easy. Read more

This rug is soft and beautiful! all folding creases are gone after rolling it out after 48 hrs. I’m so glad I took the risk and purchased it. I wasn’t sure about the quality since I was purchasing it off Amazon, but it is good quality! The rust color in the rug balances out the blue hues very nicely! Read more

The rug is very pretty. However, there was no MSDS sheet attached to it describing what specific chemical or chemicals has/have been used either in the production or shipment of the rug. The odor is so strong I had to use an albuterol inhaler twice. Ultimately, after about 15 minutes indoors & unpackaged, we took the rug to our garage where it will stay until we have a stretch of very hot dry weather. We plan on letting the rug bake in the sun for a few days followed by pressure washing it with detergent & drying before we’ll allow it in our home. Straight out of the packaging, & in our opinion, we would describe the product as toxic & unsafe for children, pets, and/or those with asthma/pulmonary disease. The chemical odor is so overpowering, we could taste it. We will not allow the rug back into our home until 100% of the chemical odor is washed out. To describe our experience with this rug today, it seems to have a chemical substance that sticks on our hands after handing the rug requiring us to wash our hands after unfolding it— the rug even has a slightly residue/oily quality to it, like something has been sprayed on it. Customers absolutely have a right to know what chemical or chemicals result in the odor experienced when unpackaging this item, and what, if any chemicals were sprayed on the rug either during or after it was manufactured. MSDS labeling needed due to a strong chemical odor & what feels to us as a light-oily residue on the rug itself, in our opinion. Manufacturers take note: rugs that have strong chemical odors but lack proper MSDS labeling will always get a 1 star review from us regardless of how pretty they appear. Read more
