Nice lamp, when it arrives intact

The first lamp I ordered arrived intact, and was easy to assemble. It could be cheaper for what it is, but it looks good. I then bought a second lamp to complement the first one. This is when the problems started; I had to send it back twice because of damage - one lamp had a crinkled lampshade and a dinged pole, and the second one had brown water damage on the lampshade. Quality control seems to be an issue. I'm now waiting for the third replacement! Read more

The weight and design of this lamp were good, but the quality control was poor. The base had finish imperfections and the pole, which comes in 3 pieces had mismatched brass finishes. The item description says off white shade, the actual is white. I’ve generally had good experience with Safavieh products, but lighting seems to be an exception in terms of quality. Read more
