This is a well-built, TANK of a garbage can. Wheels big, sturdy, roll beautifully and look like they will last years even with heavy loads. The foot lever is SOLID and made of 1/8" steel or maybe even 3/16", no doubt, quality. And this can comes fully assembled, so no hassle at all. Many people would rate this 5/5 and for their needs, I wouldn't disagree. But I bought this for 2 basic reasons (Convenience of less emptying/saving time and foot pedal lid). I wanted a quick and easy upgrade to the office garbage can that would limit the smell (has lid, check) and keep us from having to empty the 13 gallon kitchen can several times a day (which wasn't happening). The last bullet point says "No-Slip Bag Security - Features notches in the back of the can to securely attach plastic bags and prevent that annoying slip effect. Keeps the inside of your trash can cleaner, longer. " --- These notches just don't exist and to make matters worse our standard 33 gallon trash bags simply won't (really) fit over the garbage can lip. They do, but you have pull the bag over the lip with surgical precision, stretching the bag so tight, it is no longer opaque--the first couple bags we tried ripped first... not exactly convenient, certainly not a time-saver. And I'm still unsure it would hold the bag long-term as the lip disappears in the back right after clearing the corner due the the hinge braces. If the lip extended all the way around the can and the lips circumference was smaller to hold not overly stretch the bag and the hinge brace completely cleared the lip, and didn't run thru the lip, it would hold the bag properly. If your using this outside and/or do not intend on using this with a bag, I think you'll be very happy. Also, it appears the seller is taking this back and if that's the case I'll be leaving a glowing review do the the cost of this return and I seriously doubt the inaccuracies in this listing are the sellers fault.... what a shame Read more
