I'm pleasantly surprised by this brand. I grabbed these on a whim, just glad to have extra dish detergent. I'm usually a specific large brand user, but I've really been trying to find something "cleaner" to use. The problem is usually they don't clean as well and smell....weird. Imagine my surprise when these showed up at my door and I popped one open the smell only to find its very closely scented to my favorite candle! I was not expecting that at all. I got the scent Calm (because I need that) and it is a soft pleasant lavender scent mixed with some other soft florals. Lavender can be tricky and I often do not like it in products, but it's done really well here! I will say it was slightly disappointing that all the containers were filled to about a half inch under the top. Not a big deal, but if you are someone who expects it to be bursting at the seams, filled with product temper your expectations. None of it leaked though, so that's a huge plus. Now, onto the performance. I knew these were coming and did a fantastic job of not cleaning any dishes the night before/day of so I'd get a nice variety to test on. I did several rounds and was really pleased. It doesn't foam as much as a standard liquid, but still foams some and, more importantly, cleans well. I washed silverware, plates, plastic bowls, stainless steel pans, glasses, mugs and a couple ceramic coated cast iron pots. I ran this stuff through all the tests and in the end loved it. The performance, the scent, the easy rinsing; it really surprised me! I would say it did as well as many standard "non green" brands. Is it the very best detergent I've ever tried? No. But it is now my overall favorite given how it works, being a cleaner brand and smelling pleasant instead of medicinal like so many do. I even took my old "powerwash" bottle and put a little of this in it and filled the rest with water. Shook it up and uses that for pretreating and it worked nearly as good! I realize I've written a lot here, but I'm just really happy with this and excited to try other things from the brand. I can't even believe I'm saying that about cleaning. Whole Foods stopped carrying this brand when they opened their new store here. I liked the scent, the purity of it, and love the spritzer, so easy to use! Just grab with one hand, spritz into the pot. Easy peasy. I’ll be buying the six pact next. Read more

The scent on this is just heavenly, and makes dishwashing so much better! The minimalist design looks great on my counter and I haven't had any issues with the container dispensing the product. I would describe the scent as a sweet floral with some powdery notes. I haven't experienced any issues with the scent remaining on dishes which is very important to me - typically I only buy light or scent free products as I hate being able to detect soapy scents on my dishes, so I was very glad that this doesn't seem to be an issue. While I'm not an expert on biodegradable ingredients so I just have to trust that the label is correct, I can vouch that the formula does a great job removing grease and food from dishes. It foams up into a thick, soft lather which feels great to work with and doubles as a nice handsoap, in my opinion. Given this is a pack of six bottles, I don't think I'm going to have to buy dish soap for several months at least, and that's also really nice! Read more

So, upon using Safely dish soap for the first time, my immediate response was, "Mmm☺️ This smells delightful!🤗" I really DO Love the fragrance and when compared to my "favorite" dish soap, Safely wins in this category, hands down! In dish water it creates a nice, thick lather and cleans exceptional well on "some surfaces". On certain materials it cleans so well that usually, I can only achieve these results by adding bleach to my dish water so I AM very much impressed. However, it doesn't clean this well on ALL surfaces; it doesn't do so well with cutting grease from things like plastic containers which is a BIG negative for me and one of the reasons the product didn't get more stars. I also deducted a star because overall, for the price, I wouldn't particularly consider this to be a "great value". At $35 for a pack of 6, that's almost $6 a bottle! And when compared to my favorite brand of dish soap (it starts with a D), I don't consider the Safely brand as a contender in being able to REPLACE my favorite brand in its cleaning power OR overall value for the cost. Safely is a decent brand yet, it's cleaning power I would liken akin to a value brand of dish soap but because of how well it lathers, each individual bottle of Safely dish soap will outlast other brands in this size (not the brand that starts with a D however) I do still feel that this is a bit overpriced. If the lot came down by about $10 (down to $25 for 6 bottles), I'd probably rate this a 5 star product. It DOES have the cleaning power to certainly replace a lot of different "value brands" of dish soap. But it is overpriced for something that works comparable (and only SLIGHTLY better than) the value brands. Read more

I really like this dishwashing liquid, it comes with 6 16 ounce bottles and I love the scent of these. They smell so good but isn’t too strong or overpowering. I was really surprised at how good these cut through grease, they got my dishes squeaky clean and I didn’t have to do them twice lol. They soap up really well and rinse off easy. I also like how soft my hands are and how good they smell after using these lol. I love these and will be buying more!! Would Recommend!! Read more

I only buy natural dish cleaners. This stuff works awesome! It leaves my pans SHINY! It cuts the grease with little effort. I'm very happy with it. The containers it comes in is very easy to use and looks great when left on the countertop. Read more
