I just bought these bars for the second time. I have used only this to wash dishes since December. it suds up great on my sponge, rinses easily, and is natural, and plastic free packaging. Lasts much longer than liquid soap. I use about 1 bar a month, and I have no dishwasher, so I am handwashing everything for a family of 3. My hands do not get too dired out compared to harsher soaps either. Read more
Yes, this saves plastic bottles, but it is not without its price. The soap feels a bit greasy in hand. Yes, it smells great with a strong scent of coconut. It does clean my utensils, so those are all good things. The price? Well, it is hard to apply. It cannot soak into the sponge like liquid dish soap, so you only get a little bit of it on the surface of the sponge, making cleaning of large cookware more difficult. It does cut grease somewhat, but not as thoroughly as liquid dish soap. Feels like it also leaves a slight film after rinsing, so I was not able to get my plastic containers squeaky clean. So that is the tradeoff. It is more environmentally friendly, but at a reduction in utility. Whether or not that tradeoff is worthwhile depends on the user. Read more
I have used other soap bars in the past for dishes and usually I like to use a brush that slightly damp, brush the top of the soap, and then clean my dishes. This soap wears down way too quickly to make that very good. I need a denser soap bar to make this economical purchase. Read more

I absolutely love this soap. It naturally smells so good. It is unscented but has a very pleasant natural aroma that is slightly coconutty. I love that I'm no longer throwing away plastic bottles after doing dishes and I love how easy this soap bar is to use. I usually rub it against my sponge or cleaning towel and it works like a dream. I like these dish soap bars. They smell great and the soap doesn't dry out my hands. I wouldn't use them exclusively. Liquid dish soap in a basin is still better if you have a whole bunch of dishes to wash. But if you just have a couple of things to clean up and put away quickly, these soap bars are great. I use them with one of those mesh dish cloths. Moistening the cloth and running it over the soap bar a couple of times gives me enough soap to wash a few cups or plates. It's quicker and easier than reaching for the liquid detergent bottle, which most of the time results in half of the liquid dripping down into the sink. Read more
