OMG these are so cute! I’ve been doing the “dainty” earring look for a few years, but decided to go edgier and bigger for 2026. I became obsessed with safety pin earrings after seeing a solid gold pair for over $500…but wasn’t sure I wanted to drop serious cash on a style that I haven’t worn in years- so I got this pair to try the look out. The design is perfect, as is the size, I have small lobes so these look pretty big on me. I think the wire gauge is probably an 18 or 20, but I had no problem putting them in ( like most women over the age of 40, I got my ears pierced with a gun decades ago). The color? It’s OK, but it’s definitely not a 100% match to real gold. I have a few 14k hoops and studs in my ears already and I can tell the difference between them immediately, but again, not bad… see pic for gold color comparison*** Durability and sensitivity? Hmmm… I would pass on them if you have sensitive ears. Don’t wear them all the time or shower with them and they should last a while! Honestly for the price these are very nice! These are cute safety pin earrings, easy to put in and light enough to wear all day. I’ve also slept in them without any discomfort. They’re a bit longer than I expected, close to the size of a true diaper safety pin. The insertion point is blunt, not sharp, and the end curve is wide. The clasp part is more squared than rounded. The wire bends easily enough without seeming too fragile. Haven’t worn them long enough yet to determine whether they will tarnish or if the gold-tone coating will wear off.
