These are so nice! I bought them to hang heavy metal lanterns on and then decided to hang a few plants as well. Both items hang easily on the hooks. The lanterns are about 8 in across, so the 10 in hooks work great! They are very sturdy and versatile for hanging pretty much anything on our Farm. They are in a high wind area, so I decided to bend the ends in just a little, in case a big wind blew the plants or lanterns backwards towards the open part. Very sturdy plant hangers. Much more cost effective than the big box stores for hangers that hold half the weight. Comes with all the hardware needed to install. With my drill, it took less than 5 min to get this installed on my porch. Currently holding up our hanging strawberry plant that is easily 10 lbs when watered. 12-15 when it's handling the flock of birds that like to snack on my berries before I get to them.
