I got this spark plug removal tool for my boyfriend for a quick tune-up on my car, and it worked flawlessly. The grip is solid, the extension is just the right length, and the magnetic end made pulling out the old spark plugs so much easier without dropping them. It saved him a lot of time and frustration compared to trying to use regular sockets. The quality feels durable nothing cheap or flimsy and it fit perfectly with my ratchet. He used it on a 8 cylinder engine and had no trouble reaching the plugs, so easy to remove, even the hard to reach ones in the back. Definitely a must have for anyone doing their own car maintenance. The best spark plug socket i have purchased ever, the magnetic socket helps a lot with the installation of the plugs, no more dropping the plugs and in some cases breaking them, damaging the thread or getting them out of gap, the swivel movement is awesome since automotive engineers suck once they design the location of the spark plugs. Also very inexpensive and they were delivered the next morning. Read more

After having used these last night to change the plugs in my 4th gen Mazda 3, I'd have gladly paid double or triple what these cost. Worth every penny I paid for them. The plugs are far enough down that I needed my middle extension, but these took the old plugs out and installed the new ones without issue. It took a bit of effort to remove the plug from the socket, so there's no chance of dropping them. They also have just the right amount of stiffness in the swivel to be able to hold the position you put it in, but not be difficult to maneuver. These are a smaller diameter than my coils, so they fit with plenty of room to spare. Given I'll only need these once every few years, they should last forever. Read more

Used the 14mm on a 2016 Subaru with the 2.5L V4.The frame is very close to where the spark plugs are located this tool with the wobble built in worked Great!!!The offset made the job a piece of cake,didn't have to use a universal joint or crazy arrangement of extensions.I highly recommend this product and I am going to see if other sizes are available Read more
