Not a "strong" hold, but the rest is great.
First time using a shaping powder in my own home - I've had similar product applied at the barber and the professional stuff was nice and firm, stiff, and no grease residue. Now Sal's - its decent. I won't deny it could be user error, as I first applied a little powder (as instructed), and it didn't do much to my hair. I applied more product and got a moderate lift, but still very flimsy. Not the stiff result I was hoping for. Overall - there's no residue or greasiness with this. Easy to apply. But the end result is a natural look but it isn't what I'd call a "strong" hold. Read more

Works for women, too
I know this is technically a "Men's" product, but I decided to give it a try as a woman with thin/fine hair in hopes to build some volume. I rarely have much hope for hair products as they usually do not work for me, but I gave this one a try and I'm glad I did. I was able to apply it around the base/root of my hair, and build up some nice lift and volume and honestly it looks really nice for me. There is a bit of a learning curve with getting it placed just right and blended in properly, but once its in there, I could get my hair to lift up and away from my scalp and other hairs and it made me look like I had twice as much hair as I actually do. This is a decent sized container for the low price, and it actually lasted me several months of use. I will be getting more of this. It lasts all day and holds my hair in place and keeps it looking alive. Give it a try! I'm sure glad I did. Read more
