Better than my Ninja!
I was hesitant to buy this blender because of how cheap it is compared to a vitamix. I have done tons of research on which blender to get because I am back on green shakes and had been using my Ninja for them. The Ninja does a pretty good job, but doesn't even touch the smoothness of the Harley blender! I am kind of attached to my Ninja for other purposes, so I might not get rid of it quite yet. It makes salsa PERFECTLY and I am afraid this blender might be a bit too powerful, but I'll update that after I've tried to make salsa in it. For now I am just amazed at the smoothness of this machine. I do have to say 2 cons: The blender doesn't lock into place to the base like the Ninja does, which I don't really feel comfortable about... but we'll see how it goes over time; and the frozen fruit/veggies get stuck A LOT with this blender. I have to constantly stop it and unjam it and then start it up again. The Ninja never got stuck. And I have made a crap ton of green shakes in it with all sorts of ingredients, frozen or fresh. I haven't tried blending up almonds or flax seeds in the Harley blender yet, I am currently still using a coffee grinder (one that I don't use for my beans lol) and then dumping it in. I will also update after I have the balls to trust this blender will grind those up. I know I should wait to put this review on here until I have compared all things between my two blenders, but as I'm sitting here drinking my green shake made in the Harley blender and not chewing it like I had to with the Ninja, I had to write the review right now!
