I bought Salty Britches to prepare for our beach vacation this year. My oldest daughter is 10, and the salt water and sand tends to burn her bottom about 45 minutes into being at the beach. This year, I had her put a thick layer of this on her bottom before going to the beach along with swim shorts over her bathing suit. It's been a miracle worker for us. She has been able to enjoy the beach all day long with no issues. I'm so glad to have finally found something that has worked for her so she can have fun and not be in pain. My youngest 2 kids experienced chafing for the first time this year at the beach. This has also helped them with healing their chafed areas pretty quickly. For some reason (maybe high chlorine?) my kids and their cousins all started chafing after a long day in the pool. My kids have had chafing issues here and there in the past also. It can definitely put a huge damper on things. I looked around on Amazon, saw the great reviews, and we gave it a try. IT WORKS!!! Well worth every penny and more. If I could give more stars I would.. it’s that good!! My boys get chafed after an hour in the ocean and are miserable the rest of vacation. Not this year! After some searching and reading a lot of reviews. I gave Salty Britches a try I bought 2 we were at the beach for 12 days. This stuff is amazing. They swam, surfed, boogie boarded for 12 days and no.. I mean NO chafing! Even forgot the rash guards while surfing they rubbed it on their chests and were good to go. This stuff saved me after I had an allergic reaction to a deodorant.... My underarms were very painful and VERY itchy but after putting this stuff on - my armpits felt SO much better that I didn't even really care that it stained my shirts. I just threw the shirts away lol.... It is a bit oily. However, I was using A LOT but I think a little could go a long way & possibly wouldn't stain your clothes. Read more

I have lymphedema causing swollen foot. On the bottom of my left foot by the little toe I have a blood blister. My PT specialist said I should get Salty Britches chafing ointment to protect the blister and soothe the pain somewhat. By golly it works and my blister is healing slowly (I am old ya know) and it has really helped. My specialist is a marathon runner and she says it works great for her. Read more

It definitely works but every time we left the water we would either have to re apply(which isn’t easy or discreet when at a beach) so we ended up not. Would probably try another product next time for a beach day. Read more
