I've went through my fair share of 2 way radios in my line of work. Everything from cheap $20 to one's that cost an arm and a leg. The cheap ones never last and my business can't afford to keep replacing lost $400 Motorolas. These radios are the perfect mix of the two. Very robust build quality and very clear sound while not overly expensive. My only wish would be that they come with the programming cable and car charger, also that they could charge via USB C. We purchased these radios for our youth mountain bike association. We have 4 mountain bike teams that all practice together and we needed a way to effectively communicate while out on the trails during practice. The feature we most like about these radios is that each ride group can be on a separate channel but by pressing the group ok button we can communicate with all the groups. There is also an option to just talk into the mic without having to push the button to speak. This is a great feature to be able to communicate without having to take your hands off the handlebars. The battery life on the radios last several practices and we like that each radio came with it's own charger so each coach can be assigned their own radio to take care of.
