The best budget friendly gaming monitor. I had purchased this monitor when it was on sale and it was 100% worth it. The monitor is 27 inches, does 1080p at 240Hz and has great image quality. I also have the ls28ag700nnxza Samsung Odyssey and the build quality, color accuracy on this 1080p version is almost identical and does not disappoint. If you do not have a high refresh rate monitor, going from 60Hz to 240Hz is a completely different experience. It is perfect for first person shooters like CSGO and Valorant. Read more

The monitor is amazing. The price is a bit pricey, but on like cyber Monday, it’s an absolute steal. I would say absolutely go for it when you have the money for it! Read more

’ve been using the Samsung Odyssey G4 25″ gaming monitor for a few weeks now, and overall it’s been a very impressive display, especially for fast-paced gaming. Performance: This monitor is very smooth. The 240 Hz refresh rate combined with a 1 ms response time makes motion feel fluid and crisp — perfect for competitive shooters, racing games, or any title where input speed and clarity during rapid movement matter. There’s very little motion blur, even when things get hectic on screen. Visuals: The FHD (1080p) resolution on a 25″ screen looks clear and sharp for most use cases. The IPS panel means colors are vibrant and viewing angles are wide — side-by-side games and videos look consistently good even if you’re not sitting perfectly center. It’s not a 4K panel, but for gaming this size/resolution hits a great balance of performance and graphical clarity. Adaptive Sync & Compatibility: I tested it with both G-Sync Compatible on my NVIDIA GPU and Adaptive Sync on AMD, and the experience was smooth — fewer tears or stutters compared to V-Sync-only setups. If you’re into esports titles or any competitive gaming, this is where the panel really shines. Build & Features: The design is fairly minimal but gaming-friendly — slim bezels and a clean stand that doesn’t take up too much desk space. The OSD menu is intuitive, and setting up presets for different game genres is quick. A couple of things to note: The resolution is 1080p, which is great for high frame-rate gaming, but if you prefer really detailed visuals for single-player games or creative work, a higher-res panel (1440p+) might feel sharper. It doesn’t have integrated speakers, so you’ll need separate audio if you want sound from your setup. Overall: This Samsung Odyssey G4 monitor delivers excellent performance for gamers, particularly if you care about refresh rate and responsiveness. The IPS panel keeps colors nice, and the adaptive sync support makes gameplay feel smooth. If your priority is competitive gaming and fast visuals without sacrificing quality, this monitor is a strong choice at its price point. Read more

The Samsung 25" Odyssey G4 is a solid choice for competitive gaming on a budget. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GTG) response time deliver incredibly smooth, responsive gameplay, especially in fast-paced shooters. G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium keep things stutter- and tear-free, and the IPS panel offers good color accuracy and wide viewing angles. The Ultrawide Game View feature is a fun bonus for certain titles like racing and sports games, letting you see more of the field or track. I also appreciate the fully adjustable stand — it’s sturdy, has good tilt and height adjustments, though the base has a bit of a wide footprint, so it takes up extra desk space. A couple of minor drawbacks: The FHD resolution on a 25" panel means you can make out individual pixels if you're sitting close, though it's fine for most gaming setups. The VESA mount placement sits the monitor a little lower than I’d like, but that’s a small gripe considering the price point. Overall, it’s a great value for the features it offers — perfect for competitive gamers looking for high refresh rates without breaking the bank. Read more

I've been using this monitor since mid-December, and the jump to 240Hz is honestly a game-changer, especially for competitive titles where smoothness is everything. Unlike other high-refresh-rate screens, the IPS panel here delivers really vivid colors and great viewing angles. The 25-inch size is the sweet spot for 1080p resolution, so everything looks sharp without any pixelation. G-Sync worked right out of the box to eliminate screen tearing, which was great. Just a heads-up: the stand is solid and fully adjustable, but the legs do take up a fair amount of desk space; still, for the performance you get, the value is unbeatable. Read more
