I like this carpet overall -I like the pattern - the actual finish of the carpet feels more like an outside carpet- more so than inside carpet. It is Rough - which is fine, but a bit of front door mat feel (but not as thick) By the door entrance (inside) it works. Read more

The color, texture, style and quality are exceptional. Let me start off by saying that in the past I would have never considered a door mat in this price range. In fact, when I first saw the price I thought it was a mistake. Then I read more about these rugs and the maker. I’ve seen nothing like this in competitive offerings at any price. The designs are unique and designer-level. It’s hard to believe that the rug material is recycled plastic - it looks and feels like natural materials - dense and sturdy. The sand color is also beautiful and natural looking. Similar in color and diversity to a natural grass or jute product but infinitely more durable and better looking. I particularly love the pattern of this mat. It will look perfect in the foyer of our Midcentury inspired home where we are currently using a small wool throw rug. When you look at the value this rug offers for the price remember that this mat is one of the first things you will see when you enter your home. And this one fits our style perfectly and is thin enough to not impede the door. I’ve had many lower priced door mats over the years that have come and gone. I do expect this one to last a lifetime (ok I’m in my 60s) but that’s still a long time. The fact that it’s washable polymer with a very sturdy nonslip back will contribute to its longevity and keep it looking good. Lastly, we have a pea gravel driveway and walkway which often has people tracking in pieces of gravel. These wreak havoc on our hardwoods and the softer entry mats have still allowed this to be tracked in. I expect this industrial strength fiber texture and density to help remove more shoe debris than other mats. The label says Norwegian design made in the USA which is another nice plus. I didnt know I needed a scandinavian rug until recently. I love this rug. I put it at my backdoor because there is so much traffic in that area.
