Sanitaire Tradition QuietClean and Commercial Upright Vacuums

This vacuum is amazing for at-home use or for commercial use. We use it at the apartment community I manage and it's used to vacuum 4 floors, stairs, long hallways, etc. It has a nice long cord so you can vacuum more without having to constantly re-plug it in or use a bulky extension cord. The suction power is top notch and it was extremely easy to assemble. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable but durable vacuum cleaner. I have been cleaning carpet for 30 years and one thing that I have learned is that to have the right tool for the right job!!! I have 4 different carpet wands - 3 different vacuums , they all have a different purpose. This Sanitaire is a beast I like to use it on flat glue down carpet. Mainly super long apartment hallways. It’s a time saver. The most important thing to remember is the front height adjustment- you will burn through the rubber belts if it’s grabbing the carpet too much- just pay attention. Just remember it’s a vacuum not a pile lifter - if it is lifting the rug raise it up a notch, real easy. It’s a real nice beastly boy!!! There is a significant problem with the parts. The suction wheel located underneath is made of inexpensive plastic, which broke very quickly. This means you'll need to replace it frequently. Additionally, removing the broken parts is difficult because the motor shaft moves freely and lacks a locking mechanism. If they used a higher-quality material for the suction wheel that lasts longer, it would be the best vacuum. Read more

I recently purchased [Vacuum Brand] vacuum cleaner with high hopes for keeping my home tidy and clean. However, after only a few uses, it has become abundantly clear that this product falls far short of expectations. The vacuum started off promisingly enough, efficiently sucking up dirt and debris with relative ease. However, after just a handful of uses, it suddenly malfunctioned, emitting a deafeningly loud noise that rendered it completely unusable. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. What's worse is that I'm now faced with the frustrating task of trying to get it exchanged or repaired. The vacuum works well and has powerful suction. but... I bought this for the cleaning lady who cleans the apartment building's carpeted hallways. She wanted me to send it back. So I checked it out and here are my thoughts... 1) Feels like the quality isn't great... the on button is hard to turn on... the plastic doesn't feel quality and I think some parts will break easily, especially the hook part that holds the bag on...The cord is nice but the holders plastic feels cheap, plus the holder doesn't move so you can't quickly let the cord down as you must unwrap the cord which is annoying... The lever you step on to lower the handle isn't quality and I have to push it several times. 2) It is louder than other vacuums we have, and its annoying to the tenants as several have told us about it... the good side is it picks up well so vacuuming goes fast.
