UPDATE #2!! 6/25 After over a year of use I am pleased to say that this light is still shining bright! I would not hesitate to purchase this light again (if I ever need to replace this one). Under eve mounted on the house corner, this thing goes thru extreme sun and blowing rain and has no issues whatsoever. Great product! UPDATE!! Upon seeing my review the seller contacted me and sent a new light that I have installed and tested and works as it should now. Great communication and actions by the seller for solving this problem quickly and easily! Super bright lights that cover the area well and great motion detection with a properly working shut off time. Happy customer now! I must have gotten one of the latest ones that others have had problems with. Replaced another motion detection light with this one, install is straight forward with no issues. Lights are bright and shine well. With that said, those are the only 2 positives. Auto mode detects movement then stays on...continuously...never turns off unless using the switch. D2D again stays on continuously no matter how bright the day. The only way I am going to use it is with the Test mode as it detects motion and then the light goes off after 10 seconds. Buyer Beware! This light is one of the easiest ive installed. Ever. It uses a bracket that mounts to your receptacle. And then with a single screw, the light attaches to the bracket. This makes alignment and rotation of the light infinitely flexible. Sensor controls provide absolute control over all aspects. (Sensitivity, on/off, duration, etc.) No guessing. No waiting to see if you guessed it right! Got it right the first try! So many others force you to try, wait and see, up and down the ladder a dozen times until you get it. Not here! Awesome. Light and sensor angle adjustability is super flexible too due to small orb lights versus clunky cylinders that get in the way. Brightness is excellent. So what did they miss? The bracket is not long enough to span an exterior surface mount receptacle! I was forced to use the bracket with only one side screwed down. It still held just fine, but it's a miss. Everything else is so good though, still five stars! Read more

Nice light that’s not too bright which is what I was looking for. It took some time for adjusting, but all in all I’m very satisfied with the light Read more

Fantastic! My old motion detector in the carport died so I got this one to replace it - it works perfectly as expected, much better than the old one that didn't come on when I pulled into the carport at night, so I was in the dark getting out of the car into the house - this one does and it is so bright. Comes on as I'd like, stays on for the time I have set then goes off, Have not had to adjust anything since initial installation. Highly recommend! Read more

I was pleasantly surprised how bright this is. Very good quality for really good price. Very easy to install. The only thing I would have liked better is the settings needed be easier to adjust by hand. I had to use pliers, but not too bad. Read more

This security floodlight installed perfectly over my soffit-mounted round electrical box, and works perfectly. In fully automatic mode, it comes on only at night, and only when motion is detected within the property area I've set the sensor for. It comes with an installation and operation guide written in clear English. I couldn't be happier. I see in some reviews that a few users reported that in fully automatic mode stating the lights didn't switch on or off when expected. These lights have many adjustment features, with more flexibility than other similar fixtures I've purchased in the past, and I suspect fine-tuning these adjustments would solve the reported issues in most if not all cases. Specifically: - Confirm the operation mode slide switch is set to the "auto" position (the stop positions in the slide switch has a bit of a vague feel, it might not be set exactly in the "auto" position) - Confirm the sensor is aimed properly at the desired area for detection - There is a "lux" adjustment rotary knob that determines what level of ambient (sky) light is necessary for the lights to switch on. If it is set too high, the lights might turn on during the daytime; too low, the lights might not come on or might not stay on at night - There is another rotary knob that increases or decreases the (narrow-to-wide) range of the sensor I would definitely recommend this product. Very bright and do the job. I would be happy but they are extremely sensitive and go on and off all night with nothing out there. They go on when a bush moves. Read more
