UPDATE July 2020: Well, it's been 2 years since I wrote this review. I just wanted to say that these bulbs are still working perfectly after 2 years of daily use, and there are no dropouts in the LED array. All the LEDs are working and the light seems as bright as it originally was. Compared to other brands of LED bulbs that are supposed to last 25K - 50K hours, but usually don't, these bulbs are still a winner for me. I hope Sansi continues to expand their product line; I really like these bulbs. It would be great if they would make a similar bulb with a frosted diffuser, and a higher CRI. Also smaller bulbs - candelabra bulbs with similar dimming capability would be nice. Sansi, if you're reading these reviews, please keep innovating! You have some great products, but I'd like to see more. ORIGINAL REVIEW July 2018: I was looking for an A19 style dimmable LED bulb to use in a torchiere floor lamp. Previously, I have used halogen bulbs and although they are very bright with a soft color temperature, they are also very hot (and not very safe). It is difficult to find a dimmable A19 style bulb that can produce enough lumens to replace a halogen equivalent bulb. This bulb greatly exceeded my expectations. It is exceptionally bright: at 3,500 lumens it is arguably slightly brighter than an equvalent 300W halogen bulb. I honestly have not been able to find any other A19 LED bulbs with this many lumens to compare it against; it seems unique in its brightness for the A19 form factor. The really amazing thing was its dimmer performance: I have not found an LED bulb with better dimming performance than this bulb. Compared to other well known LED brands (Cree, Feit, Philips/Osram, etc.), this bulb dims substantially better than any of them. It is almost completely silent even when fully dimmed; certainly at least as quiet as the halogen was. It can dim to the point of being almost completely dark at its minimum, with no flicker and no dropouts. It smoothly ramps up to maximum with a perceptually linear ramp. I seriously wish all LED bulbs could dim this well; it dims almost identically to an incandescent bulb, This was tested on a Lutron CL dimmer, so I can't vouch for performance on other dimmer types, but on the Lutron CL it worked perfectly. The color temperature of 3000K seems to be accurate. I don't have a color analyzer but I compared it directly against multiple other known brands of 3000K bulbs and it matched the color temperature perfectly to my eyes. As a first time customer, SANSI automatically responded to my purchase with an email. I appreciate that they are interested in communicating with their customers; I think that is an admirable quality. I don't often leave feedback but this product is so exceptionally good that I felt compelled to leave a review. The SANSI LED bulbs have amazing performance and very high light output. I wish they would make their other bulbs (especially BR30, BR40, etc.) with the same dimming capability as thier A19 product, because this dimmable bulb is a winner. I will definitely be buying more of their bulbs in the future. Read more

AFAIK this is the brightest dimmable LED light bulb with a warm color temperature. Unlike many other LED bulbs, it does not flicker. Installing these bulbs has greatly improved the room lighting. Read more

I had high hopes for this in a ceiling fixture where I was limited to a single bulb. However, it did not do as I had hoped and provide bright lighting all around. The area directly under the light was dim but the walls were well lighted. Looking at the design of the bulb, it make sense since the LEDs are all on the sides of the bulb and none are on the top or bottom of the bulb. Placing the light bulb in a lamp, I found the same problem. Great lighting going outward but poor lighting directly under the light and above the light. For me, this bulb does not work well and I wound up giving it away because I was outside of the 30 day return period before I could get up to change out the ceiling light. No, I would not recommend it as I am not sure there is a good application for it with its current design. I have hopes they will improve it. Read more

I have been purchasing LED bulbs since LED bulbs started and I have met many bad apples. This new bulb from Sansi is the best LED I have ever purchased! In two rooms I need extra bright task lighting (I am getting older) and this 150W equivalent fits the bill. It is quiet! It dims great! It is bright! The color is excellent for detailed tasks. As my other LED bulbs burn up the circuitry (bad design on other bulbs; which Sansi has addressed) I will get these: B07NZ37B24, the 100W equivalent. At my age, I use 100W equivalent, Dimmable, 5000K bulbs throughout my house. I use Lutron Caseta Smart Switches to set the dimming in each room to suit my needs. In two rooms, I will use 150W Sansi bulbs for were I need excellent, full bright lights for detailed tasks. But at night, 1-20% bright is perfect for me. This 150W Equivalent LED Bulb performs beautifully at 1% as it does at 100%. No buzz! If budget is important, ECOSmart LED 5000K Dimmable [B07964LLF5] from Amazon or HomeDepot works fine, but they eventually die because the circuitry gets cooked. When it comes to Dimmable Bulbs, I go for the High Color K Value and the High Wattage. When I need the light, it is there, when I do not, Dimming is excellent. Alexa, set Stella to 10%. Hey Google, set Raymond and Gilbert to 20%. I use over 30 LED bulbs in my home and over 20 smart switches. Read more

I purchased these bulbs to replace Cree LED 5k, 18 Watt, 1600 lumen bulbs. These bulbs are no brighter despite having a lumen rating that is twice as high. The Cree bulbs also produce a less yellow light, so at 5k this was surprising. Considering the cost of these bulbs, I would avoid them as they don't perform any better than much lower-priced competition. I spoke to someone at Sansi about this and all they did was give me some rhetoric about quality components and a long warrantee. Unimpressed to say the least. UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller and they offered to refund me some of my payment because I was not satisfied. They were very nice and did so quickly. Further testing with my existing bulbs plus new bulbs from another manufacturer showed that these bulbs are slightly brighter. The difference is not significant, but they are brighter. So, I'm giving them back a couple stars for the outstanding customer service. The product is still too expensive for the minimal gain in brightness, but if you don't care about that, these bulbs are backed by a company that cares about their customers. Read more
