For reference the medium fit me perfect for my body type; Height 5'0", weight 135, bust 39-40 over bra and top (bra size 36DD) hips 40". I have a bit of a tummy so I am picky about how fabrics lay against my figure. THIS top is a heavy enough weight and a nice enough fit that my lower tummy flap from my 2 Csections is NOT emphasized at all...the fabric floats over it. If I had bought a size small it would have clung to my fat folds and showed them to the world. Size MEDIUM for the measurements and weight I just gave will fit any woman close to the same size as me a perfect fit! As chesty as I am, I did not look like a Russ Meyer Movie star in it. My cleavage showing was just sexy enough without being obvious. And a bonus was how the fabric seems to repel lint and dog hair rather than attract it like so many other black clothes do. The material has a little bit of sheen and slickness to it's surface. With other black tops they show hair and lint IMMEDIATELY upon my putting on the top and just walking around the house for 5 minutes (I have a fawn pug and a black and white cat!) If a hair lands on this top I simply flick it off of the surface with ease. No hairs sticking to it or embedding themselves within the material. It's an expensive looking/feeling top and the criss cross neckline is SO flattering. I paired it with a khaki crotchet open sweater (cotton and Summery), a short denim skirt , a pair of nude colored shoes and a turquoise choker necklace (bought at the same time off Amazon for the intent of putting it all together for a cute outfit). I have ordered this top in several other colors, both sleeveless and long-sleeved, and probably will order more over time. They are well-fitted , very flattering and comfortable. My older tops have been washed numerous times and come out perfect. Read more
