Bought this vest for a themed Nerf Fest (think nerf war and renaissance fest) and it was a great addition to my outfit! The material is soft and of good quality. A great buy if you want something comfortable, long lasting, and that provides good coverage (this is not a corset top). This is a wonderful option for cosplay or ren faire. I think it would even work for the occasional regular outfit. I don't know how much use it can take but it held up to my whole day of ren faire running and nonsense. It did however not completely fit. I know going into this purchase that it may be small and it does fit. It just make me a little too busty for my taste when laced all the way up. It does not meet in the front but it does look nice over a green or red tunic or dress. For reference on my size I'm 290 amd 5'7" I have a more narrow waste that it excentuated nicely. It did have room for my broad shoulder and arms. It was a great choice and I'm glad I took the risk. I looked great even if it diddnt fit completely up. I loved this piece. I bought two other more structured corsets along with this and this was the best. It was comfortable, which I appreciated. It fit me relatively well and I plan to use it over and over. The construction was fantastic and I don't see it falling apart anytime soon. It fit me well, although I might should have gone a size down. I am about 5ft 6 inches and weigh about 180lbs, I wear a 38C Bra, and I purchased a 2XL, it is wide in the shoulders and a little loose in the chest for me but I still loved it. I ultimately ended up returning this vest. I really wanted to like it. It's cute and looks great, but the shoulders fit really weird. Maybe I have weird shoulders, I don't know. The shoulders just didn't sit right or look good and constantly were requiring adjustment and moving back onto my shoulders. I wore it around the house while getting ready for the renaissance faire and had to take it off before we left because it was driving me nuts. It could just be my shoulders, and if these work for your shoulders, this is pretty cute and had decent materials and lining. The stars off are really because of the annoying shoulder issue, but if this isn't an issue for you, this is a five star from me. Read more
Love it, very pretty red wine color! I think it's great quality for the price but I will be re-lacing it. I love that there is no boning in this, it's way more comfy than the corsets I've worn to Renaissance festivals in the past. There is a zipper up the side which makes it easy to get on and off without having to loosen the front, just slip up and over my head. It fits me perfectly - for reference I ordered a size small and I'm about 145lbs and 5'6". Overall I think it's a great bodice for the price and I look forward to wearing it this weekend. Read more

The quality and shape of this is great. I unfortunately read the reviews that said this fit loosely and i ordered my usual shirt size. This fit waaaay too small. I think this is one of those items it’s just going to be sizing roulette. But it’s made really well. Read more
I wanted to dress like renaissance fashion but decided on a witch outfit because well that’s just my favorite. I’m 5 ft, 168 lbs, short torso, can’t stand anything tight on me so ordered a 2x. 2x fits just right, not sure if an X-Large would even fit. Because I have a short torso the fit was great on me , someone with a longer torso it’s going to be really short on you. I wore this over a cute bell sleeve peasant top and with a long black skirt. Had to figure out how to loosen then fix how I wanted the strings in front, but not too difficult. I haven’t washed this yet so not sure how it would do, but I would definitely hang dry it. Honestly this could be used for a cute vest too for any day if the year with or without a shirt or dress underneath. Read more
