I am just getting into ren faires and stuff but have always loved cottage core styles but nothing in that style ever fits right or looks good cause I’ve got a large bust (between DD-DDD). I love this thing more than life itself. I’m a little bit chunkier than I’d like to be and it often makes me feel a bit self conscious and I have a really hard time finding clothes I feel s3xy in. This bodice makes me feel so beautiful and s3xy. My boyfriend agrees lol. I have a feeling that if I’m ever feeling self conscious I’m just gonna lace myself up and feel like a baddie and go on my merry way. Here’s all the details: I have a 42 inch bust at the last measurement and got a size 16 which was absolutely perfect! The zipper seems to work well but I kind of don’t prefer to use it (ik it’s a pain in the butt but I like the process of lacing it up (also it allows me to lace it tighter than I’d be able to if I were just relying on the strength of the zipper to squeeze me in). I haven’t seen any rips or anything and I’ve laced it pretty tight, but I haven’t used it for long so I’m not sure of long term use. I feel like this is even more comfortable than a bra in some ways (I hate underwire but like the lifting effect and have always liked “long line” bralettes). The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this corset top! Wow! It’s beautiful. I bought it to wear with a hobbit costume. It is EXACTLY as described and pictured. Fit was as expected. There’s a lace front with a beautiful soft satin ribbon. Then on the side there’s a zipper closure. The zipper is very sturdy and it blends in well, you can’t really tell that it’s there. It was easy to get on because they ship it with the front already laced. So all you have to do is loosen the front and slide in through the side, and zip yourself in. I also like how there’s freedom in the size of the corset. Scroll to the video to see what I mean. The front “flap” underneath the ribbon is a couple inches wide so you can wear it tighter or looser and it will still look perfect. It will work for varying shoulder heights because the ribbons are not just decorative, they are all functional. So you can really make this corset fit exactly how you like it too. While the quality was top notch, it came with a large tear on the side! I am typically a size 16/18 with a 42” bust but the 18 was too big. I would recommend a size down so the lacing in the front is able to be seen. With the 18 I had it cinched as tight as it could go so the lacing look was missed. I bought this 1 size below what I needed due to my size being out of stock. I'm also pretty busty, and yet it still fits quite well. Compared to some of the other corsets by this company, this one is definitely not their most stretchy, but it still fits pretty good. It's very adjustable, and the strings are very, very long. I had to find a way to hide the tails of the string inside the costume because they were hanging down to my belt even after making the loops big in the attempt to fix that. However, one could always cut the extra material. The material is thick, not soft but more durable, and the design is really cool. It's perfect for a ren faire or cottagecore inspired costume. First impressions: this is beautiful. I have been on a ✨️weightloss journey✨️ so I had to do an exchange. I ended up with the Large/10 and this size allows the lacing to be slightly open. I originally got an Xl/12, but when I placed it up, it wasn't tight enough and the laces were as tight as they'd go. Going off the size chart, a 12 should have been what I got. Here are my measurements: Chest: 39 Waist: 33 Hips: 41 I'm also not sure if it's just because I have small shoulders, but the straps could be a little more snug. They would probably be fine if you have a larger chest, I'm a B. I've purchased from this shop previously and everything has been great quality. I dont have experience with other corsets, but this feels like great quality to me. Looks just like the picture. Has a lining on the inside and is comfortable against the skin. I'm 5'2 and the corset sits where the sides are right above my love handles, so this is something to keep in mind - but will definitely snatch the waist. The length is traditional, so wearing a full skirt/dress under should cover any spots you might be self conscious about because of the way the corset squeezes. Honestly was surprised it fit, I’m not too great at taking my measurements. I estimated them using amazons recommended fitting and my bra size for the bust measurements and I was amazed at how great it looked on me. First time I’ve ever really worn any type of corset.
