I used for the first time as soon as they arrived - my beard growth was less than a full day so I took this into account. Bottom line - this is the BEST disposable I have ever used. It is reasonably inexpensive and provides the ultimate close shave. I'd have to offer my opinion that the * One Star reviewers are very likely either not allowing the beard to soften (warm water and leave the shave cream on for a couple of minutes or possibly not shaving at the correct angle. If the blade edges do not have the correct angle the result will be a poor shave with any razor. Read more

I have never understood why razor manufactures keep adding blades to their razors. One blade is all that is needed, but since I cannot find one blade razors anymore, then I will go with two blades. The Schick ST2 razor has to be the best value available. Very comfortable and they last longer than any other razor I have tried. Great value at less than 50 cents per razor. Please do not try to improve on this razor by adding more blades. Read more

My local Walmart was out of stock on these for a month and it appeared they might be no longer offering them, so I turned to Amazon. Don't ask me why these have been my preferred razor for half of my shaving life, because I couldn't tell you why they work better for me than the poly-bladed over-engineered billion-dollar brands. Two things that I appreciate about them is that the head is so slim I can get into the tightest areas of my lip without putting my nostrils into jeopardy and also the plastic spacer between the two blades is designed to have a little travel forward and back so by depressing the part of it that sticks out the back of the head, you can dislodge embedded whiskers that accumulate between the blades. Arrived quickly and were packed well (better than more fragile items I have bought on Amazon). Each razor has 2 blades resulting in a smaller head allowing easier maneuvering in tight spots. The push cleaning slide makes cleaning easier and extends the life of the blades. The handles have a nice texture for a good grip even when wet. These are probably the best disposable razors I have found at this price. Read more
