My dog loves these. The doughnut shaped ones gets teeth into the squeaker/air valve, and sometimes has to be tossed the same day. My dog has had this squeaky toy for 3 weeks and it is good as new. The squeaky valve/air valve is on the bottom. The large egg shaped bottom. He bites the center, it would be hard to bite the bottom of this toy. Since he can not bite the bottom valve, he has a play toy to last much longer than the doughnut style. I know because I have bought many orders of the doughnut style, no more for me.
