I love all the Schleich animals and have been building a collection for my grandchildren for years. I couldn’t resist some of the new animals. The cow is beautiful. This isn’t a criticism but an observation—some of the larger animals have enough weight that they become a weapon if thrown during childish spats. Also, the realism of the animals means legs and horns can poke painfully if one steps on them barefoot. However, we are more Darwinian in our child rearing and believe “Don’t throw that cow at your sister” and “Put your animals in their basket so no one steps on them and gets hurt” works pretty well.
