We’ve tried a lot of STEM toys, and this build-your-own radio is easily one of the most rewarding ones so far. Got this for our son for Christmas and he enjoyed putting this radio together and it works great! Only issue I have that it doesn’t come with a screw driver and the screws and nuts are very small for an adult to handle since it’s mainly meant for kids. Be sure to have a small magnetic screwdriver because it’ll make the process easier for you. Read more

Really cool little project and the sound is great. I deducted a star because after my 7 year old son built it (with my help), the screw that holds the antenna on lost its nut and we couldn’t find anywhere. It is so small I don’t know if we will be able to find replacement. Read more

Great little gift/activity to do with your kids. Builds a real working radio. Doesn't come with tools but it's fine. Don't need anything special to put it together. Easy to put together. My 9 y/o son got this as a stocking stuffer at Christmas, and he started putting it together right away. The radio has shockingly good reception and sound.
