ScorpionEXO 1909 Vintage Leather Motorcycle Jacket Ventilated with Removable Thermal Liner and CE Rated Armor Included

First of all, I had been looking at this jacket for some time, now, waiting for a price break or sale. It has all the retro, "old school" styling that I was looking for in a motorcycle jacket. When a great price came up, I snatched it up. Shipping was fast, received it in less than 2 days. The jacket has a nice feel to it. The soft, distressed leather looks to be very well-made, nice stitching, good zippers, etc. The fit was perfect. I am 5'-8", 176# and a large was perfect, fits snug but allows full movement. The jacket has a nice zip-out liner and removable armor. The armor was a little distorted right out of the package, probably has been folded up and sitting on a shelf, it should straighten out with a little work. Reviewed after a month or so of casual use. Seems quality. Has exactly the features promised. Looks great. So far, zippers are robust. Can be difficult snapping snaps shut with gloves, but yeah, of course that's a possibility. Small zipper pocket on right sleeve for holding ID card or the like, handy for entering/leaving secured areas where you have to show ID to a guard or scanner or something. There is one tiny spot of discoloration on the back shoulders, but I didn't think it was enough to deduct a full star. Edit: Thought y'all might like a word on size. I'm 6', around 200 lbs. Large fit in a manner I'd describe as 'comfortably snug.' It was fine. However, I decided to return the L and get an XL so I would have more room for layers in cold weather and to carry certain concealed items underneath comfortably. I'm 6' 183 lbs and the large fits just right. This is the coolest jacket I've ever owned. I even take the armor out (which is easy to do) and wear it as a normal jacket when I'm not riding. If it helps some decide, the brown is faded and not as noticeable or in contrast to the black as in some of the pictures I saw online. In some lighting the jacket looks all black and in some lighting you see the brown. I think it's perfect. I usually don't spend this much on jackets but I'm really glad I bought this one. Read more

Very nice leather, cool look, seems well made. I’m 6’1” 200 and not flabby - xl is snug on 36” waist with even a tshirt, jeans and belt. Xxl seems same shoulders with good room in waist but arms are a good 1.5-2” longer. Disappointed to return Read more

I was hesitant because of the price tag considering I just bought a new bike but it is actually a steal. I am beyond happy with it. The leather is elite, the look is great. Craftsmanship with the zippers, pockets, sleeves, etc all exceed expectations. NOTE: the molecular armor uses your body heat to mold to your figure... more awesomeness... but out of the box that was on a cold doorstop can make it feel uncomfortable for the first minute. Comfortable. Looks great. Sturdy. High Quality. Nice rear venting for hot weather. Doesn't come with back pad; bought and inserted a D3O CE level 2 back pad in the back armor pocket without issue. Read more

Will update review as I wear the jacket but first impressions are off, color does not match pictures, it is a extremely dark brown, hardly distinguishable from black. The “ CE “ armor provided for the elbows are literally just pieces of foam. And the fit is tight , I ordered a large and I am usually a medium at 5’9 170lbs and it is really snug around my arms / arm pit area (with the liner). The over all look is cool, hoping it will lighten up a bit over time. Read more
