It uses neither suction nor adhesion so I can’t rate those. It’s not meant for security, but holds the phone securely. It’s a great product. I wouldn’t recommend removing it and moving it often. We had a minor problem with the two I bought with the clips loosening after being moved a few times. The manufacturer sent me some extra clips (easy to replace them) and the problem went away. Grips tight once more. The original grip was so good in fact, that removing the mount to give it to my daughter nearly removed the vent grill. Great grip. Just don’t move it often. The only thing that would make it more awesome would be if the ball were a 17mm one. But love this vent clip. Read more

One of the better vent-based phone holders I've used. The third leg/kickstand doesn't stay in place, but still works well enough to keep your phone from moving the vent around too much which is a common problem with all manner of vent clips. The ball joints, once screwed into place, is well sturdy even for larger/heavier phones that are moving in and out of the holder regularly after several uses. I even used it to wrap excess cordage, leaving the phone end dangling from the holder. Read more

Worked well for awhile but after a period of time they work themselves loose. Then you tighten them and tighten them again and again until one day they won't tighten anymore. The price was good at the time worked well for quite awhile but I would definitely try something else in the future Read more

Ive used many vehicle phone mounts the last few years. This has been the best, and the cheapest, BY FAR. I had one break while I was packing my windshield screen away, and immediately ordered another. First one lasted about 2 years. Holds phones nice and secure, super simple and fast to use. I think Ive had the first one come off of the dash, one single time, in about 2 years total of use. When I put it back on, I didn't have a single issue until I completely broke it being clumsy. For reference, I have a truck which I am not exactly gentle with. No GPS in that ol truck so I use this on 90% of my drives. Read more

This is a good product, but two times now the plastic bracket that holds the phone has broken. The manufacturer should either put some metal in the flexible holder or allow people to just buy the holder w socket that fits on the ball, instead of having to buy the whole thing over and over and then we just waste the plastic of the holder, which in my case I don't need. So now I have to either keep buying the units and not using the base, which is a waste, or remove the old base from my dash and try a new product/manufacturer. At this point, after two replacements, I'm moving on to a new product and new manufacturer. Read more
