Drive was new and delivered quickly. I did not receive what the image on the Amazon page showed, it is instead a relatively bare HDD. To be clear, I am referring to the product being different in appearance and not the packaging. I am building a pc as a gift, and the theme is neon green. The hdd bay on the pc case basically displays the hdd, which lead me to buy this green one. It is not green, it is chrome and blue which is disappointing. Read more

First one would not format due to excessive i/o errors. Replacement arrived in 48 hours, no fuss, no problems. Capacity is excellent. Would recommend a full surface scan before investing in a format (takes over 24 hours). This 2" drive is 15mm thick rather than the more normal 9mm so doesn't fit into many of the standard external drive cans, nor into the Dell R495D internal caddy. Had to buy an Inatek metal caddy which solved the problem, as long as you don't use their pan-head screws. Make sure you have 15mm clearance where you are going to install this as it has twice as many platters as the normal 9mm 2TB disk - but well worth having the extra disk space.
