I've used this right now for only a short time, but so far it has performed exactly as expected! Being a renewed product, it runs just like new! The price per TB makes buying this a no brainer! Works as advertised. Add two of these in a 2bay external USB device that I use as a offsite backup to my main PC. I used RAID 0 since this was a tertiary copy. They set up fast. Speed was good and after about 35TB of data were not too hot. Read more

I probably got lucky but my drive arrived with only 96 hours of power on time and very low reads and writes. I was a little skeptical buying a recertified drive since I have only gone with new before this, but I'm glad I went this route and saved some money. The drive also comes with a 5 year warranty from ServerPartsDeals so that also helped with my choice. I'll update this if I have any issues, but so far so good. Read more

Ordered several of these. The price went up by $10 overnight because I bought a few which is BS and predatory AI pricing. One of the drives failed an extended S.M.A.R.T. test and had to be sent back. The remaining drives passed (one is still in testing). New drives took 2-3 days the replacement took about a week longer. Read more
I've never used a refurbished drive before. I was hesitant to purchase this one. But I needed the capacity, and the price was right. So far, this drive hasn't disappointed. Were it not for the text written on the label that communicates that it is refurbished, I'd have no way of knowing. I put the drive through some tests, and thus far, all is well. Were that to change before a reasonable time, I'd update this review. Read more
