This fan is small but mighty!! Hands down, the BEST purchase I ever made! The battery life is outstanding! I had it set it on speed level 2 sometimes 3 from 6:30am to 4pm (off for 1 hour at noon) and the battery was still at 76%. It's slightly on the heavy side but worth the trade of keeping me cool all day. (I didn't' notice the weight after wearing it for a bit). I bought this to use for work but I can’t- it’s much too loud. Seems like a neat little gadget though. Might find another use for it. Update: I did use it for something else, just generally because it’s hot outside. Bouncing between levels 2 and 3, the battery only used about 40% in an 8 hour period. So if that keeps up, I’d definitely say it has a good battery. But unless sound isn't an issue or you’re in such a loud environment that it isn’t noticeable-the volume of the fan is my only complaint. The fan works great, light is bright, and it’s nice and fairly compact. I was recently contacted by customer support. They were very polite and helpful and without asking or contacting them at all they offered a refund, which I appreciate. I will say to reiterate, it is a very good device so far it’s just not quiet. Considering the quality of their customers support I will definitely bear this company in mind when looking for more gadgets. I bought this waist fan intending to use it for an upcoming trip. The fan easily clips onto my belt or I can wear it around my neck with the included necklace strap. The LED display shows the battery percentage and the fan speed when I press the power button. The airflow is strong and can keep me cool throughout the day. The fan can also act as a battery pack with provides dual functionality when taking it on trips. It has both a usb-c and a usb a port for charging. This product is awesome! I purchased it for a friend who hates the summer heat and works outside with cars. He has ran this fan on the highest setting and it lasted almost his entire 10-hour shift. I also purchased one for myself as I was pregnant and working outside and it has been a LIFESAVER. I have used it as intended, as a necklace, as a desk fan and just holding it up to my face and it really helped beat the heat. The fan motor is a little loud and obnoxious, but it will keep you cooler than nothing and the higher settings do feel good even when the fan is sucking in hot air from outside. It works very well, the battery lasts a long time (it also charges for a long time) but overall, it is very worth the cost of the product.
