I love this desk. Pros: 1. It looks great and is super sturdy (once I folded a couple pieces of paper and shimmied them in around where the base connected through the cabinets). 2. Directions were easy to follow and parts were clearly labeled. 3. Works really well going up and down. Cons: 1. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to assemble. I had wanted the drawers on the right side and according to the directions it could be flipped. However, if you flip it the top is significantly off center from the base. It looked too bad for me to tolerate so we backtracked a bit and put it the other way with the drawers on the left. During manufacturing it would not have been hard to adjust the placements of were the metal bits connect to the wood top so that it could be flipped without being off center, so I'd say that's a significant design flaw and silly to propose it as an option when it becomes SO off center if you do that. I'm talking 6-10 inches to the right and 6-10 inches forward from the base. However, if you are ok with the drawers of the left, then it's a great desk. 2. I do think they could have arranged the cords from the control panel better as they are pretty obvious, but if you get creative with some zip ties it helps. 3. The top dark wood top is 2 pieces and the seam running down the length of the desk isn't subtle. 4. The detail along the bottom appears to be confused. There is one scallop at the front below the drawers but then the shelf side has the one scallop on the side facing under the desk. Why would they both be towards the front? It is shown in the photo but I didn't notice until we were assembling it. I just think it's weird. And another design flaw that could easily be fixed. 5. A cord hiding tube or compartment would be really helpful or a sleeker final look. This sounds like a lot more negatives than positives. But honestly I'm really happy with the desk and would purchase it again, I just think there are a few places it could be improved. Read more

This desk exceeded my expectations! It's incredibly sturdy and glides smoothly with adjustment. The perfect size fits beautifully in my office, which looks stunning after assembly. You'll definitely need a second person to put it together, it's not something you can do alone. There are a lot of steps but the instructions are easily followed. Just got it set up. Initial reactions are that I think I’ll be happy. I would have liked part of the storage to be a file cabinet. I was also a little thrown off that even at the lowest setting, the desktop is a few inches over the cabinet, just like it shows in the first picture. I thought it was just showing it at different heights. But the desktop does NOT go down all the way. The storage on the right hand side is a bit odd.. I don’t think I will actually put anything in the cubbies. The height is great and will work well for me and my husband, me 5’1” vs him 6’. The opening is nice and wide and will easily fit my walking pad. It took maybe 3 or 4 Hours to set up. The quality is pretty good and seems like it will hold up well. Super easy to put together. Sturdy and a better product than I expected for the price. The storage is exactly what it looks like in the ad, and just enough to keep my desk from feeling cluttered on top. Highly recommend the purchase. FYI, it does come in two different boxes, which threw me off a bit when it first arrived, but don't panic, both boxes came within a 48-hour window of each other. Read more

So far so good. I’ve only had for a few days but the desk itself is beautiful. Much better quality than I expected and the brown wood color is very rich and pretty. The standing feature is working great so far. The best part is having all the storage without having to compromise on a standing desk still. Absolutely love it. Super good price for what you get. The desk was very good and actually functions above expectation. But the seller was aweful to me after Fedex left my item at the entrance to my apartment building instead of my front door. Item stayed there for 4 days even after Amazon reached out to the seller. I had to pay someone else to move the item to my apartment after 4 days. Gorgeous, functional, sturdy and fairly easy to install from a technical stand point. BUT This desk comes with a tremendous amount of pieces. The instructions are thoughtful and thorough but this is not a quick assembly. I moved at a leisurely but productive pace with no mistakes and from unboxing to completion this took 4 hours. I’m fairly competent with things like this. I would still recommend this product unless you are impatient with assembling things. I bought 2 and thought I could do them both in one day but I’m going to pace myself and build the other one tomorrow. If you need a large desk with standing functionality and storage but don’t have a huge budget… this is perfect and I would recommend. Update: built the 2nd one today at the same pace. With knowledge from building the first one I got it unpacked and assembled in 3 hours and 13 minutes by myself. Hope that’s helpful! Read more

in the picture it looks like book and catalogs fit in the squares lower right of desk......they are not high enough.........other than that.... the assembly instructions are clear but it does take probably 4 hours to assemble........finished product is adequate and so far the ability to stand up and work has been helpful Read more
