This thing is fantastic. Is it overkill for what I bought it for? Absolutely. Would I buy it again anyway? Absolutely! I’m not great with a controller and learned that some speed runners use these for some platforming games. Now that I’m used to it I feel like I am able to be much more precise and have fewer errors that with a regular controller. Initially I didn’t like that I had to plug it into a computer to customize the button output, but after seeing the interface to tune the buttons I realized how much easier it actually is than it would have been to do it with menu options on the controller itself. You can set buttons to do “combos,” like up and Y or down and Y, for example, which is used in the game I’m currently playing to use tools. You can also set multiple profiles so you just switch profiles to get the correct button format when you switch games. The only criticism I can think of is that you have to set a button to switch profiles, or you have to plug it into a computer and use the interface to switch. It would be nice if there was a built in button for this. Read more

I made the switch from arcade sticks to leverless controllers over a year ago. After deciding to get serious about traveling to tournaments, I wanted to upgrade from the small 3d printed controllers I owned to something much more professional. I'm so stoked with this. The metal body feels solid, but it's thin and light. (Anyone who remembers carrying heavy arcade sticks around all day will appreciate this.) I went with the low profile buttons, but having the option to swap in other modules is awesome. My buddy went for the WASD keyboard style layout with the higher profile action buttons. We're up to four of these in my gaming group because we like them so much. My only (minor) complaint is that I wish the case had the ability to add on a shoulder strap. As it stands, I'm usually carrying it around by the handle, or leaving the case behind and just carrying the controller and USB cable in my backpack. Read more
A Very Satisfied Customer—August 11, 2025
I was very hesitant with this controller. Having grown up in arcades and playing Super Nintendo through my formative years, I was very used to either a joystick or a D-pad on my controller. Having buttons instead of that on a controller seemed alien at first, but I adapted pretty quickly and now it's pretty much second nature. If you've played many computer games that use a WASD key layout, it's easy to get used to. The controller is visually a very nice controller. The RGB accents may not appeal to everyone, but I think they're well integrated into the design and are a nice touch. The buttons for movement are also repositionable, so you can rotate that section of the control pad to a more comfortable orientation if you like. Additionally, all of the keys are modular and can be swapped out with other modules to allow different key configurations and layouts, or if you'd like to swap it over to a traditional stick. The customization options are really good. The controller has built in programmable buttons, as well as a built in turbo function. There's a dedicated mechanical slider switch to disable these functions for competitive or tournament use. There's also an OLED screen to display important information or settings on the controller. Input lag is almost non-existent, with the manufacturer claim that latency is <1ms. Input response is immediate. The controller is built very well and feels very high quality. The buttons use quality key switches, that move smoothly and easily. It has some weight to it, not so much that it's heavy, but enough that it feels like a quality product. The materials are high quality, and it's well built. It's stood up to all the abuse that a middle aged man can dish out while showing his kids just how Street Fighter II should be played. :-) It's a great controller that's customizable and adjustable, and it's a great price. I really can't recommend it more. Read more

Great for fighting games. I'm currently using it when playing SF6 and Tekken 8 and it's really good. It does take some time to get used to it, especially if you are mostly used to playing on controllers, keyboard players will get used to it quickly. The RGB lighting is a nice touch. The build of the device definitely feels premium. The buttons feel great and have a great response. The only downside is that it is a wired only controller, it'd be great if it had Bluetooth or 2.4hz connectivity. Read more
