These swing chains appear to be high quality, strong and durable. The chain size is just right, not too heavy. They work well for many types of swings, hammocks, and more. The plastic coating is nice, but I wonder how it will hold up after being outdoors for a long time. Locking carabiners add more safety and peace of mind. Sometimes items need a bit of time for a true review. I decided to wait a month before reviewing these. They have been in use every single day since their arrival. We have them holding up a disc type swing that on a branch of our pecan tree. So, it is certainly being put to the test. Myself and my son both on the swing equaling a weight with the swing included of about 300 lbs. One, both, or us and our 40lb dog all hop on at some point every day. It has been through thunderstorms, southern heat and humidity, and of course the rubbing that comes from being draped over a pecan tree branch. These chains are still in excellent shape! These are absolutely heavy-duty chains. They were easy to attach, they hold a hefty amount of weight, they are functioning great even after being put to the test. The media could not be loaded. I was surprised these swing chains were as heavy duty as they are. Each chain is 65 inches long and there are two chains in the set. The set comes in a nice, thick canvas bag to store them in. Each chain has two heavy duty carabiners on it (one at each end). If you're using it for a swing set, one end is covered with a non-slip, comfortable grip so it doesn't wear on your hands. If you don't have a hook or something to hook this into at the top, then you can sling it over something and it'll snap back into itself with the carabiner, so you can make the chain as long as you need to make it. Each carabiner has a secure twist lock, so you can keep it from unlatching at the most inopportune time. The description says the chain supports a thousand pounds. I didn't test that theory. It's made from premium, high hardness, stainless steel that is corrosion and rust resistant. And it feels heavy-duty ... even the carabiners. So you can use it for things like swings or hammocks or punching bags or whatever. The current description says that it has "non slip comfortable grip for kids on every chain," which could be misread as "on every chain-link." But, it's on every chain as a whole with a "section" on each whole chain that has the non-slip protectant on it. So don't misread that. I think the whole set itself is almost three pounds, so there's some weight to these. Nice length and strength, swing chains. Well designed and durable. No rust even though they've been outside. No squeaking or creaking whike in use. They work well. Have a good solid build and hold a user's weight with ease. They are a much better quality than our original swing chains and safer too. A price point made for a good value. Read more

I picked up these swing chains to extend the setup in my backyard, and they’ve been excellent so far. I order these to use with a dreamcatcher swing that is just too low to the ground and not able to swing far because of it's location. Initially we were going to extend the ropes but that wasn't advised in the instructions. We were then going to buy chain but soon released that while that would work, it would likely slip along the branch. We saw this and knew it answered not only the strength that we needed but also a bit of protection for the branch having that rubber section at the top. Packed really well in a canvas bag. Read more

They come with a nice cloth carry bag, I'm not sure why, but it is a pretty nice touch. The chains seem strong. They do include a locking carabiner on each side of each chain. They have a rubber like shrink wrap kind of thing on the lower half of the chain which is to keep your hands from getting rubbed by the chain I assume, which is also a nice touch. They were long enough for me but when you order these, do make sure you measure and make sure they are long enough for you.
