I’m updating my review to 5 stars! At first I thought this item didn’t include the remote but I just discovered that the remote is in the little handle! The entire item is great. It’s sturdy, doesn’t wobble and easy to use. I love high it can go. Also I’d like to mention that the seller is pretty classy. When I thought the remote wasn’t included and left my original review with that statement they reached out to me personally to see how they could make it right. This tripod is very well-made, feels very sturdy and is really compact. I keep it in my hiking bag and pull it out when I want to take pictures of me and my dog on our hikes, which is where the remote control helps. Bluetooth connection was really easy to get in the beginning, the only issue I have with it was that I had to reconnect it the next time I wanted to use it. I'm not much of a selfie stick guy, but the simple Bluetooth setup to connect the remote button to the phone for video and picture control was easy. This well-built and sturdy stick works exactly like I expected it to. I did use it once to slide down a waterfall and took a quick pic or two on the beach. But then I forget I have the thing, so it will probably spend most of its life in a bag or hiding with other camera equipment that gets neglected. Overall though, this is a nice quality product and holds my phone in a case securely. It also attached to my action camera with the 1/4 jack threads. Good value, and good price. Read more

Bought this selfie stick and it is super sturdy, paired with my iPhone immediately, and I actually love that the remote is BATTERY operated (using CR1632 3V battery). I originally thought that the selfie stick was missing the charging cable for the remote and left a seller bad feedback. I love that it is battery operated because can't tell you how many times I lost the charging cables for my selfie!! Also got this at such a great price. Super happy! Read more

Used it for our elopement. There were other couples with similar tripods around us. It’s easy to set up and did a great job recording the ceremony via my phone. I only haven’t tried the selfie stick or the remote control functionality yet; I couldn’t tell if the remote is charged up after charging it, but if you just need it to hold your phone, it does the job well.
