First the good & then the bad.. I just want to start by mentioning this product is made to ONLY be a Bluetooth selfie stick. It features a removable wireless remote, Bluetooth pairing, a standard selfie stick, adjustable pole, a small selfie light, camera rotation and a “tripod.” Bluetooth remote: Pairing was very easy, just hold the button down for 2 seconds & pair to your Bluetooth on your phone in the phones settings. Can be used on the stick or removed to take photos from a distance (if you have a proper location for it to stand). The remote does not recharge so make sure you click it for 2 seconds to turn off and save its replaceable CR1632 battery. Selfie stick: The adjustable length of the pole to hold the camera up works with perfect strength and integrity as well as the foldable phone holding “arms”, if you have a pop socket, it can hold onto either the pop socket or the width of your phone. The fact the camera arm also rotates is a positive if you would like wide vs standard photos. Selfie light: I don’t have much to comment on besides the fact it has two settings, bright and MOrE BRIGHT! The button is located behind it. A charging cable does come with the selfie stick to recharge this little camera light. “Tripod” And this is where this product loses one star. This cannot function as a tripod, a nifty feature when using the removable remote right? No! It is meant to open at the handle into a tripod, but it doesn’t work efficiently. It is a little difficult to pop open, that’s okay, but once it does, it is balancing on the metal inner piece and the legs. The weight of my iPhone 13 Pro Max is too much for the little guy and he falls. The tripod is not useful at all, hopefully enough people comment to get this fixed. (WE bought 3!) Complaints and features aside, overall I will say for this price range it is a great product! It was exactly what I was looking for so when I express my frustration on this last feature understand I gave 4 stars only because my extra “perk” doesn’t function properly. I’m just gonna start this review with disclosing that I bought this tripod for when I’m doing unholy things that my grandpa wouldn’t approve of and recording them to share with other people like my mom taught me not to do. Now that that’s out of the way. The pros: - it’s cheap! - the button works. - the light is bright. - the light is rechargeable. - it’s strong enough to hold my phone with a case on it (which has been a struggle with phone mounts in the past). - it’s strong enough that I can put the bottom inch of my phone in the clamp and it doesn’t tip or fall. - it’s LONG. Cons: - i wish the remote snapped into the handle or something. I already know it’s gonna get lost if I take it somewhere lol - I didn’t take points off for this but I wish the legs of the tripod were longer. *it’s my own fault because I had it sitting on the squishy couch but* it it’s not sturdy on soft surfaces and ends up falling over. - I didn’t take points off for this either but I wish the light had more settings than just bright & brighter. Some lights have the warm/cool light options which would be nice. - it’s HARD to get it to telescope. I’m scared I’m gonna break it.
