A perfect balance between the two worlds of matcha tea...culinary- and ceremonial-grade teas. It's been a about four years since I was able to make my own traditional matcha, and this was the first time I saw a blend, so the timing was perfect with a new matcha set arriving near the same time. The hot tea did not disappoint. I also attempted my first matcha latte without bothering to research or study various methods. I used a small wand whisk which worked well, instead of my kettle frother...because I was lazy. It was fine, but it was weaker than I've had and liked. That was all me and not this tea...too much milk. Time to get back to the research. My hot tea blended well, had that beautiful green hue, was smooth and fresh-tasting with loud earthy notes.
