So I am tired of paying subscription fee for Ring, I bought an indoor camera from this company, it worked great! I then got this one from the same company their outdoor camera. I am glad they made one that doesn’t require wire. Love the battery feature as I can stick it wherever I want with the magnetic mount. It includes the night vision and the video looks super clear. It does come with a SD card so I don’t need to buy one, not that they are expensive though. Just had it installed, the human/motion detection works well. It did recognize our dog. Notifications come quick and the app is simple enough. So far it meets my expectations. I may give it some more time and if this works well, thinking probably get more to have the front door covered then I can completely cancel the Ring subscription. The only thing is I wish they come in different colors as it’s outdoor, but I looked around, most of them are white, can’t find various colors from other brands either. So not a big problem. This is a great camera that is affordable and has no monthly cost. My car is outside in the driveway since we already have one in our small garage. Periodically we will have people walking around at night trying to get into cars and I’d like to catch them doing it. I love how it can attach with magnets so no holes need to be drilled in the building. The features are similar to my security system camera in the back of our home and my doorbell cam doesn’t capture the driveway so this is a great alternative. I bought one for my son the next day because we were so impressed with it. Yes you do have to charge the battery periodically but it will last longer if you only have it record 1) during the night when most incidents happen and 2) only those things you are concerned about. I set this camera up Nov 16, and it’s now Dec 20 and the battery with one charge is still only at 45%! It’s nearly constantly recording small creatures in our outdoor cat shed and still holds a charge! It connects great from father away from the house and is super easy to set up and move! The app is free and easy to use, and I’ve had no issues so far! For an inexpensive camera, it is AMAZING! I have it set just inside an outdoor shed with an open cat door even through -10 degree weather and never had any issue with it! The motion detection can be a little sensitive even with the sensitivity turned down, but that’s not an issue at all! Overall, great purchase for sure! Read more

I purchased this cam because I needed to see when my escape artist cat is coming to eat so I can figure out when to set up the trap. Installation of the app was easy and the cam connected right away to my wifi. I found the perfect spot to place the cam and the alerts started. I have it set for animals since my doorbell cam catches people. The video is crystal clear. I have it set for infrared light at night, and I have been able to get some amazing photos from the videos. I am so happy I purchased this cam. It's only day 2, so I can't comment on battery life. There were more expensive cams but I only need it for this purpose. The built-in SD card is a lifesaver!
