I've used this toothpaste for years. Anytime I allow myself to run out and spring for using something temporary, I end up with sensitivity. This product allows you to still scrub the heck out of your teeth without having to worry about causing pain or damage. Great stuff. If you grind your teeth like I do, which I believe led to my problems in the first place, this is your go to. Soft/med bristle brush is good as well. This is my favorite toothpaste. I didn't know I had sensitive teeth until my dentist told me I do. I went in thinking I had a cavity and he laughed. He said my teeth are just sensitive so just use sensodyne. I've had no issues since. I can't use regular toothpaste or the pain returns. I have always been a Colgate man. This is what I have been used to and this is what I know. I got used to the flavor of the toothpaste and any diversion from my toothpaste path felt strange. I had dabbled with other kinds of toothpaste and could tolerate them if I had no other option. I branched out and tried this toothpaste mainly based off the box and the wonderful claims it makes about what it could do for my teeth. Now my teeth have done right by me and I thought I would treat them. I liked what I experienced. This difference in flavor took only a short time to get over. My teeth felt clean after each good brushing which is what I would expect. I was not sure about the claims about improving sensitivity but I did notice that my teeth was less sensitive to foods after using the product. My only complaint was that I experienced a not great aftertaste experience that was not as refreshingly minty as during my Colgate days. I started using this toothpaste about 10 years ago. On the rare occasion that I run out, I notice such a huge difference within a couple weeks, of super sensitive teeth.
