This rug is great for the price. It's thin but still feels so soft and comfortable. If you like that more cushioned feel, you could put a rug pad underneath it, that would help with sliding too (But this does have a grippy backing). The colors are vibrate and beautiful. I was looking for a very simple, cheap, inexpensive, but useful floor rug for a rental house to protect a wooden floor for use under my rolling office chair in lieu of buying one of those plastic roller sheets for office chairs, which may have scratched the wooden floor. One alternative was to go to a thrift shop and look for a worn out rug, which I thought I could get for something like $25 but no those were often even in thrift shops a lot more so I started looking on Amazon. There were multiple choices, but because of the colors I finally chose this one, because it looked nice in the pictures and more importantly, it was incredibly cheap. I was completely gob smacked when it arrived, not expecting much, but the quality, even though synthetic was absolutely outstanding, and it felt like a plush, authentic cotton or light wall rug. The colors were excellent and the base of the rug with the anti-slip bottom was perfect for a wooden floor . These kinds of rugs that are made this well are perfect for things like home offices or kitchens or under a living room table because you could hardly tell the difference between this and a very expensive rug, although of course, if you wanted to you could. But for whatever purpose, If you’re going for saving money and a decent look, I would say this is it. I stress that I was very, very surprised and very, very pleased with the quality and the look and the feel of this thing. I have several of these and love them, in part because they actually look like antique Oriental rugs. The streaks of color variation in the background areas is what you find in the old rugs where the wool was dyed in small batches and the color intensity varied from batch to batch. I use one of them in front of a cat litter box to prevent the tracking of dust and litter. They're thin, silky to the touch and easy to vacuum. They really are machine washable (cool, gentle cycle) and non-slip (hang to dry). I'm considering getting a larger one for the living room. Read more

I’ve purchased this type of rug before from Amazon (but a different brand) so I knew I was not getting a woven rug or anything. The pattern is simply printed on top of a white thin carpet. BUT that exactly what I wanted. My kids kept tracking in dirt and dust at the front door despite the outdoor doormat. I thought about an indoor doormat but I like the look of the area rug instead. The non slip back holds it in place and it’s washable. These thinner rugs can be hard to vacuum on full power but I can just turn my vacuum suction power down or use our robot vacuum and it works great. I will say that this rug is thinner than the other brand I purchased previously (less plush) and the top of the rug itself is a little slick/ slippery if you run across it because it is so soft. The package shipped in merely a clear plastic bag and there were two rips in the bag by the time it got to me. I was lucky that the rug wasn’t damaged. Yes, it ships folded instead of rolled but I set the rug down in place and 2 days later all the creases were out. Works great for a rug my kids will run all over while giving the illusion of a nice rug. But if you think you’re getting a steal on a fancy woven rug, this isn’t the rug for you. Read more

Wish I could leave more stars. The colors are magnificent with deep blues, earthy salmon on the red side and warm beiges. None of that fake, washed out "vintage" look of so many in this price range. It is thin, but I wanted it so the front door won't catch and easier to clean (rain, visitors, pets, husband & etc). It sets off our front door area with a nice contrast to the white floor porcelain tile. Kudos to the vendor for a good product at a great price. Highly recommend. Read more

While the rug's colors looked great initially, six months later it's very washed out and it doesn't stay put on the floor. I'm actually throwing it out this week since it's extremely faded (I washed it 3 or 4 times), it's lost its shape and I've tripped on it a few times. If you're using it in a low traffic area, it'll probably be fine. However, if you plan on keeping this in a busy hallway, better get something sturdier. Read more
