The parts and directions are great, and well labeled but the holds don’t all line up properly, so it takes some muscle to force things where they need to go. I’d suggest having a second set of hands. The little plugs suck just fyi, you have to jam them in which scratches the silver finish. It’s a super comfy chair though. Read more

I was sitting in the standard chairs that were supplied to us in our office. Seat was rock hard with no lumbar or thoracic support. After sitting at my desk for a minimum of 8 hours each day and a few 10 hour days, my back, neck and tailbone were killing me. It was to the point that going to see my chiropractor would have been a waste of money since I know the cause and really need to change my chair. I got the chair, my son put it together for me in just a few minutes. It was a snap for him to put it together and honestly I could have done it myself. I am 5’1 and weigh 130, so usually chairs are way too big for my comfort. This one is almost perfect. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it doesn’t quite have enough lower lumbar support for me, but I fixed that with a small half round lumbar pillow that straps onto the back. Now it’s just right! I can adjust the height so I can sit up to my desk. I can recline a little to alleviate fatigue while working and the seat is pillowy so no tailbone pain. Since my back is positioned correctly my neck and shoulders are starting to feel much better. I would definitely recommend this for anyone experiencing pain and fatigue while working long hours. It’s a good investment In myself so I can work pain free and actually be more productive. Read more

Chair is okay. I've put together many chairs, however after completing this chair it tilted to the right. There is not much tweaking you can do to adjust it, so I just have to live with it. Fairly comfortable. The plastic covers for the screw holes occasionally pop out even in the right places. Each plastic head is different to match the design of the arms however a few of them don't fit well. Additionally the black plastic side panels have popped out of place and don't look like it can be put back in place. Update 1/10/18. This is the worst office chair I have ever purchased. A screw holding the back rest and arm rest broke in half. The screw is now lodged in the back and I'm unable to extract it. I'm a 175lbs so its not a weight issue. The tilt handle is also defective. It pops out 3x a day causing me to brace myself. I called the manufacture and received a replacement part, but despite 3 strong individuals we were not able to remove the broken part from the post. I had to jerry rig the handle so it no longer self releases. It addition several plastic pieces above the wheels broke off. Overall I am dissatisfied and will never buy their products again. I have been buying, putting together, and sending to goodwill or giving to friends chair after chair for the last 2 years. I feel like goldie locks. I work from home and game, I need a chair that can be used for more than an hour, so really comfy seat, good back support, arms. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I now know you get what you pay for so "fortune" is relative. I wanted it to look nice, but I now know that trying to be stylish is a waste of money for my needs. I am average height, 5'4". Wheels on chairs that said they were for average people added 3" most of the time. This one is PERFECT. Wheels on and I can sit and my feet are flat on the floor. So, getting rid of food rests and other things that were awkward under the desk trying to help. It's comfortable. I will say, I just got it, so I may have to revisit this review and followup. It was super easy to put together. And based on all of my previous chair purchases in the last year, I am overly qualified to say that the quality of this chair for the money is VALUE. Maybe the $400-1000 chairs would be more comfortable, but I just can't wrap my brain around that price. Army rests are a little low. Wish they were higher or adjustable, but I can live with it. The chair itself is quite comfortable. It remains to be seen how long the cushions stay firm. The customer support is poor. There is a very noticeable painting or molding/casting error on the right arm rest. I reached out to the customer support via Amazon app and was sent to Serta. After a few days they responded but I got no help there. They said they are not the manufacturer, and gave me the contact info for the manufacturer. I reached out to the manufacturer and never heard back from them (over two weeks now). All I asked was if they (both Serta and the manufacturer) can send a replacement armrest and new plastic caps to cover the screws. The manufacturers website looks suspicious, like it’s in the middle of being developed. They haven’t even replaced the boiler plate template text from the website template they are using. Plus, this model chair isn’t listed in their website. If Serta is not the manufacturer and won’t support customer issues on the products with their name on it, what’s the point in buying a Serta? I feel like I paid just premium for the brand name. Save your money and get a less expensive alternative. Read more

I reviewed office chairs for over a month as I have to spend nearly 8 hours a day sitting in it for work. I found the perfect chair!
