These things work well and don't leave any smell or taste. I hate smelling soap on dishes I'm eating off of. These are the answer. I don't rinse anything before putting in my newer Bosche machine. Everything comes out clean every time. Even the cooked on rice pots. I would normally never leave a review for something like soap, but it was a mission to find the right product. Was surprised to see some negative reviews. This is the best dishwasher detergent I've used. the dishes sparkle, and no strong chemical /toxic smell like with some other detergents. Maybe they improved it. Read more
Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent packs are my go-to packs. They clean well, come in massive pack sizes (72 packs in this box), and are more affordable than other brands for the number of packs you get. They are simple, no frills packs that are trying to be plastic free, but the box it comes in is only 90% plastic free. The pods themselves also use polyvinyl alcohol, which seems to be better than some alternatives, but still contains microplastics that do not fully break down. As far as cleaning goes, they work well overall. For the amount of dishes I tend to shove in the dishwasher, Seventh Generation does a dang good job of cleaning up my messes. The dishes look clean when they come out. They don't really sparkle, but they smell clean and are streak free. Read more

I was tired of my baby bottles smelling like detergent. I was using well known Platinum pods, and they did work well with my LG dishwasher. I purchased these based on reviews and our dishes are clean and no longer have a scent! I do notice that my LG filter has to be cleaned a little bit more often, but that's okay. We absolutely love this brand and prefer these to the gel. Only product that leaves our dishes feeling, smelling and tasting clear. Inferior products leave dishes tasting like soap. Read more
