The set itself is very good. It comes with everything needed to make matcha (minus the matcha powder of course as that is a separate purchase all together). The only problem is do be careful with the bowl itself when applying heat to it as it can conduct heat very effectively. Meaning if you put boiling hot water in the bowl, you can expect the bowl to be very hot to the touch. The whisk itself is a bamboo material which is the most popular choice for matcha making and remains to be the most ideal choice over resin. The small scoop is nice, but not always necessary unless you want to pass matcha through the sifter, which I have found to be not necessary at times as long as your technique is good. The only con I would note is between other competitive sets, its hard to justify the price. Overall, this was chosen based on reviews and I can say it was a decent purchase all together. Read more
