I did a lot of research before I purchased this vacuum and repeatedly the reviews and recommendations about this vacuum were good. It does not disappoint; this a great vacuum. The attachments are easy to use. It is small enough to be used on small messes but strong enough to handle larger messes. The suction will pick up heavy debris and fine powdery dust. When turned on the devise is not very loud but still works great. It is easy to clean and doesn’t require bags or filters. Great value for the money. I use this almost everyday to pickup little messes, kitty litter spills and the odd crumbs that find their way around the kitchen. It charges well, though the charge doesn't last all that long if you use it for an extended period. I would say 15 mins is about the time the light starts blinking to recharge. Read more

If you're thinking about buying that no-name brand on sale, don't. Just buy this one instead. Trust me. I've been looking for a good affordable hand held vacuum for years. I've tried tons of 4+ Star ones, and all of them were a huge waste of money. One lasted almost a year while another stopped working after three uses - and everything in-between so I was hesitant. I finally sucked it up and bought this one once it went on sale and the difference is amazing! It feels light but not cheap. The noise is about the same, but the power is much better. It picks up dirt, shredded paper, and even dog hair with ease. The extensions are nice and since the quality seems good, the vacuum does its job. The media could not be loaded. Edit: After a lot of back and forth trying to help the AI email agent understand the problem, the support system sent me a new vacuum and I only had to pay for the shipping. So, I'm adjusting back up to a mid-grade rating. If the replacement works for at least 2 years then we are all set. I will note that the charging issue seems to be a recurring problem on electronics that use USB for charging and I will be avoiding that in the future. ---------------------------------------------- We have another shark vacuum, and that one is great, but this handheld is really bad. The suction was never good, and after 6 months it has just stopped charging. Customer service is run entirely by AI (even the emails), and after explaining the exact problem with the USB-C port on the vacuum, they offered to send another cord. I bought it over a year ago and it’s still working fine. It’s great for cleaning up after kids and picks up cereal and crumbs easily. Great for quick clean up in the car. It isn’t quite strong enough to do the entire interior carpet of the car but helps with maintaining it. Emptying and cleaning the filter is easy. It gets a decent amount of time on a full charge. The only problem was the charger. The piece that plugs into the vacuum was hard to connect from the first day and broke off after a few uses. I called Shark and they said the warranty (I purchased the two year one) does not include the charger so I had to buy one. The new charger fit better and works fine with the plug adapter and with the USB port in the car. It’s a bit loud but since I don’t use it for long periods of time it’s not a problem. Read more
