We bought this Shark vacuum 4 years ago. We never use our corded vacuum anymore since this cordless vacuum is so efficient. We have 2 long hair dogs, so we usually run the vacuum twice a day over the downstairs. The vacuum is lightweight and easily maneuverable, way better than any corded vacuum I have ever used. Tha battery charge easily allows us to vacuum the entire house. The only time the charge ran out is if I tried to vacuum the entire house and furniture on a single charge. Now I give it a ~3 hr charge between those tasks. I highly recommend this vacuum. Read more

5-Star Review: Excellent Compact Cordless Vacuum for Smaller Homes I’m thoroughly impressed with this cordless vacuum — it’s an ideal solution for small apartments and modestly sized homes. Lightweight, maneuverable, and truly compact, it stores effortlessly in tight spaces and can be tucked away almost out of sight. Performance has exceeded my expectations. On a single charge, it easily cleans my 700 sq ft apartment (mostly hardwood floors with one area rug) from corner to corner. It picks up dust, fine debris, and hair with ease, and the motorized brush roll leaves hardwood looking polished and streak-free — a nice bonus that makes floors appear freshly cleaned. Most of the critical reviews seem to stem from users attempting to vacuum large amounts of heavy debris or using the tool on surfaces it wasn’t designed for. When used within its intended scope — quick, regular maintenance in smaller living spaces — it performs brilliantly. **Minor notes (not complaints):** - Additional attachments are available but must be purchased separately. I ordered a crevice tool and upholstery brush afterward and now consider the setup complete. - As with any cordless model, long-term battery health is a valid question. My previous vacuum lasted over 10 years, so I’m curious how this lithium-ion battery will hold up over time. So far, though, runtime and power remain strong. Overall, this is one of the best cleaning purchases I’ve made for apartment living. It’s powerful enough for daily use, yet small and convenient enough that I actually enjoy pulling it out. Highly recommended for anyone with a small to medium apartment or home (especially with mostly hard floors). If you have a larger house or need heavy-duty deep cleaning on wall-to-wall carpet frequently, a corded model might be the better choice — but for compact, cordless convenience, this vacuum is outstanding. This is an excellent vacuum of its kind. Great suction and battery life if pretty good. Definitely is good at picking up pet hair. We had a Dyson stick vacuum before that clogged immediately because it wasn't "pet friendly." But the it was easier to clean out the clogs. I spent quite a bit of time last night cleaning out the clogs on this Shark which is more difficult to clean out than the Dyson. Had to do this when I noticed the lint and fur weren't going into the canister. How do you clean out a clog from the middle of the pipe?! The Dyson was more maneuverable and light weight, but the Shark is more efficient. So we are keeping this one. Read more

I like the fact it's battery operated and the way it cleans. It took a while but I finally got my wife to use it. She had another vac that was worn out and it is hard for her to try something new, but she uses it daily now. I did get a spare battery, although most of the vacuuming doesn't use two batteries it's always nice to have a spare just in case and the ability to purchase spare batteries both OEM and aftermarket. Very good vaccum. If you’re not used to a smart vacuum, some thing can throw you off. It is very strong so it you cannot use it on any flimsy throw rug. You cannot push items out of the way with vacuum, example; toys, it will just go over it and suck it up, very strong suction. I have a a bad back and it seems lightweight to me. Battery goes fast on super high mode but that isn’t even needed for regular daily use. Also mine has two batteries so I don’t worry about that. Read more

I feel obligated to let readers know what an amazing vacuum cleaner this is. I have 2 indoor cats neither of which are long-haired cats. Some of my flooring is carpet, some is vinyl laminate, and some is tile. There is a button on the handle to switch between flooring types and the vacuum handles each flooring surface with ease. There are some nice features for this vacuum. The dust cap is so easy to empty - just hold it over a trash bin and slide the button. The lid pops open and the contents slide right out. The dust cap can be totally removed & washed as can the filters. When vacuuming, the vacuum head slides easily under furniture and the light on the vacuum head is handy for vacuuming in dark corners. The brushes in the head do not get tangled with hair the way the brushes in my Eureka vacuum did. I can’t begin to tell you how nice it is not to have to sit down and dig out hair wrapped around the rollers and brushes. The battery recharges relatively quickly with an indicator that flashes to let you know how much of the battery is charged. I can easily vacuum the ground floor of my home - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, laundry room and kitchen with battery to spare. I vacuum every week & here is a photo of the fur, dirt, and hair the vacuum picked up just now. I would recommend this vacuum to my friends and family. I would buy this vacuum again if I needed to.
