I have been using this Sharp vibrating alarm clock for several weeks and it has been very useful and works great for actually getting me up on time. The vibration from the bed shaker is strong enough to be impossible to ignore when placed under my pillow and it feels much more effective than sound alone. The alarm itself is loud and clear without sounding distorted and the combination of sound and vibration makes a big difference for me. Setup was simple and the controls are easy to understand even when setting it late at night. I like that it feels solid and well built and the buttons have a firm press so nothing changes accidentally. One of my favorite things about this alarm is that I take this traveling to use as it is portable and easy to pack. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time and I have gone multiple nights without needing to plug it in which is convenient for trips. It fits easily in a bag and does not feel bulky or fragile. The vibration strength is consistent even on battery power and it performs the same in hotels as it does at home. Overall this has been a reliable and practical alarm that fits my routine well and gives me confidence that I will wake up when I need to without relying on my phone. Read more

The alarm on this clock is VERY loud, definitely strong enough for heavy sleepers. I had no issues waking up with it. My only complaint is the battery — it dies quickly and needs to stay in the dock to stay charged. I was hoping it would last longer off the charger. Still, if volume is what you need, this alarm delivers. Just be prepared to keep it charging most of the time. Read more

When I was initially charging this guy I setup the alarm before reading the manual and figured I'd read the manual and get back to it later that day. I didn't, and went to sleep leaving this on my desk. The next morning this dude, because the vibration thing was on, yeeted itself off of my desk and shook it's way well under my alex cabinet. My not easily moved alex cabinet. So startled as heck by the vibrating/bouncing/clanging sound along with the super loud beeping, and not even remotely awake, I had to jump out of my loft, crawl to find the blasted thing, find a means by which to extract it from the nook it'd found for itself, then figure out how to disable it. Well, it works. That definitely woke me up. Turns out I didn't really even need to read the manual (pretty straight forward, clearly), setup was a breeze (unfortunately) and it was both incredibly loud, and incredibly mobile with the strength of the vibration. Construction on this dude is great, it's really cute. Kind of a soft outer material that's inoffensive should you stick it under your pillow. Readability for me has been great, it's really clear especially in lower light when it's most relevant. The overall size is nice considering it's functionality. Really cute. I'm a big fan of this aesthetic. The battery life is absolutely sufficient for it's use, 29 hours seems really accurate. You do want to return it to it's charger daily or there are good odds of it running out of power before you wake up, but it's clearly stated and the charger is really small and convenient so no issues there. Overall, yeah, exactly as described. Cute, small, minimal, aggressive way to wake up but if you have a place you need to be, it'll at least get you off to a good, perhaps startling, start. Read more

If you are getting this because you are a deep sleeper and need all the help you can get to wake up this is the alarm clock for you! Im a light sleeper and I work nights so my wife and I are always waking up at different times, so I wanted my own alarm clock so we wouldnt constantly have to reset the alarm for the other person. I also thought the vibrating function would be good because it would quietly wake me but not her. It turns out this wasnt quite the answer for that. Its a little complicated to use and remember what button does what, especially when setting the alarm in the middle of the night and you push the alarm set button one too many times and it starts beeping and vibrating (tip: if you set the hour, then set the minutes and leave the minutes flashing it will set and go back to clock after a few seconds, but if you forget and hit the alarm set button one more time it starts beeping and then you hit the button again to shut up it starts loudly vibrating). The vibrating function is actually extremely loud even under a pillow and when I take it off the charger in the middle of the night to reset it I forget the base is magnetic and it falls off the alarm clock and onto the nightstand and sounds like somebody breaking in. The display looks nice and i like that I can adjust the brightness, but this thing is just too noisy for me. Hopefully I'll get used to it and better at using it Read more

This alarm clock is truly next level quality! If you are worried about the astheic of your bedroom even a little, this is not a plastic looking or feeling product. My boyfriend could likely sleep through a train going by and does not wake up easily. I figured this was worth a try and I am so glad I picked it. The round part with the time is truly amazing quality, it feels very high end. I really like that you can adjust the brightness of the clock as well. For me (a light sleeper) a bright light makes it difficult to fall asleep so I just dim it. In addition the number of settings that you can pick from depending on the type of sleeper that needs it is GREAT. I did not even use the instructions to set up, it was so easy to figure out. If you are a light sleeper or have any type of heavy sleeper in your house, give this product a try. I guarantee you will not regret it. Read more
