Great product. I am very happy with it and the results from using it. Buy one for each of your homes, you’ll be happy you did. I use this on my Japanese knives as well as my western knives. It works great. I have four different honing rods and this is in the top two of what I have and I’m glad I bought it. Get one. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is the initial unboxing Of the Coppola steel. Comes in a very nice box with a plastic sleeve over the steel. I thought I was going to be able to remove the ring to fit it into my knife bag, but as you can see from the third picture, The ring is permanently attached to the pole, which holds the grip onto the steel. In my first test, I have a Gerber classic 8 inch chef knife. It’s not a terribly high-quality knife, but it cuts. I ran it across the steel three or four times on each side and it is now significantly sharper. Read more
