We love this set. First, it comes attractively packaged such that it would make a fantastic gift. The wooden bowl is so well made and smooth, just the right size for lathering up the shaving soap. The brush is very soft and the bristles are well attached. The handle is wooden and smooth and fits well in the palm. The soap is pleasant and not overly scented. It lathers well and does not cause irritation. The metal stand also has a disposable razor loop at the back, which is handy as well. All in all, a nice little kit and perfect for gift giving! This is a nice addition to my shave routine. The quality of the stand and bowl seem to be pretty good. The brush does lose hairs the first few shaves, but I haven't noticed any the last couple of times I've used it. Great shave with this brush set

The media could not be loaded. Great set and a great shave. It really is neat when using a blade to apply shaving cream/soap with a brush and this brush is well made. Sturdy and feels great. This set comes with cream in a tube but you can also order one with shaving soap if that is your preference. The brush and bowl are used to mix the cream with a very small amount of water into a nice lather for application. A little of the cream goes a long way but be careful not to use too much water or you will end up with a messy liquid concoction. The bowl is very attractive looking and could be used for many things but the best use is with this kit. The unit comes with a stainless steel holder that supports the brush and razor. Depending on how much room you have around the sink it looks attractive almost as a decoration. The only negative (and it is not a big one) is that shaving cream that is on the face or neck and not used can take a bit of rubbing to remove. Not enough of a problem to cause an issue but one that should mean to take care when applying. Again, a little goes a long way. Read more
