This is the very best hair product I have ever used and I have been around for many decades. I'm of Irish/German descent and have that fine unmanageable mane and decided last year to grow it long so all of the problems became more critical. I tried a lot of different products and came across this company, Shea Moisture, as I lived in West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer and knew the multiple benefits of shea butter and anything that supports people there, I am all in on. Now I feel like a genius as this leave-in conditioner does it all for me. I even bought a bottle for a friend who now raves about it too. One thing, it is extremely difficult to get it out of the bottle but the struggle is worth it. It should go in a tub like some of their other products. Great price, no frizz at all anymore, and I even like the smell that goes away quickly. Another note, they also make a spray called 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Leave-In Treatment that does nearly the same thing, I spray it into my hands and work it into my hair. Read more

I really like the smell and it hydrates my hair but I feel like I need something more for my hair. I wouldn't say its greasy, its very lightweight. It could just be my hair but I feel like I need something thicker than it. I have also used it to keep my boho hair from matting, I have some knotless braids in and I will say it does work well on that hair. I recommend it for that type of maintenance. Read more
